I just want to know what the big hype was about this guy. He's one of the most overrated wrestlers I've seen and the IWC just seems to praise him to no end. Fact is, when in the WWE did he ever progress past 'solid' matches/promos. I don't understand why people would think he was destined for holding World Titles. I mean, he was good enough to linger in the midcard and had an IC/US reign or two but main eventer? No way. Tremendously overrated.

What are your thoughts on the guy and if you're one of the guys who thought he'd become a main eventer and major champ, how did you justify it?

I honestly never saw the big hype around him (much like Punk), and from what I recall he was nothing out of the ordinary. I think he could've, with more time and training, got to the ME scene, maybe had a world title run - small chance though.

Never really saw that much of him during his time in the 'E, but the guy had a decent look and a certain amount of charisma... Nothing I'd expect to take him higher than mid-card tho'.

I think people simply saw some potential in the guy - he seemed good in the ring and had some charisma. I think people got behind the guy because the E' never gave him much of a push.

As for being a main eventer? Well I have no idea because we never got to see enough of him, he seemed like a good future IC/US champ to me personally.

I honestly liked him better when he was managing terkay. He had a good boxing backround and that is where his success ended to me
