Elgin quits?

In what may be an apparent work, Michael Elgin has announced via Twitter that he has "quit" Ring of Honor Wrestling after the company made the following announcement on Twitter, which also includes Elgin's response:

Well, if this isn't a work then I hope he'll do good in baseball. And if that fails then he could beg NJPW to book him again.:jeritroll:

Lol, couldn't imagine him playing baseball. Maybe as a catcher.... Either way, the lad needs to lose some weight for him to get far in the sport I would assume. Also a shame for him to leave ROH in this odd situation (If this isn't all a work that is)

Was there not something about this last month before the last ppv, him being pissed off with ROH for some reason. Also there was a Delirious interview where he said he admitted Elgins reign bombed.
