Hawaiian slugger Edward Faaloloto will make his UFC debut against TUF 12 finalist Michael Johnson in a lightweight showdown at UFC on Versus 4 on June 26 in Pittsburgh.
The UFC announced the news on Monday.
Faaloloto (2-1) trains under Chris Leben at his Ultimate Fight School in Oahu. He had two wins in Hawaii’s X-1 promotion before losing a second round TKO to Anthony Njokuani at WEC 52 this past November.
Johnson (8-5) lost a unanimous decision to Jonathan Brookins at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale in December of last year. Prior to that he was on a three-fight win streak on the regional circuit.
Also expected to take place on the UFC on Versus 4 card is a heavyweight bout between Pat Barry vs. Cheick Kongo and a featherweight showdown between Joe Stevenson vs. Javier Vazquez.
