WWE has announced that former World and WWE champion Edge will be appearing on next week's episode of Smackdown.

Can't WWE let this guy retire? He has been gone four months and this is the second time WWE have brought him back first time it was on PPV and this time on Smackdown. This is meant to link in with Edge's appearance on a tv show called Haven which airs after Smackdown. I assume he will once again have an altercation with Christian.

Although it's great to see him back on Smackdown again, I agree with you. I'd rather see him gone for quite some time instead of making a second appearance in 4 months. I know, 2 appearances in 4 months sounds like nothing, but he's supposed to be retired and has gone on record he wants an extended break from all forms of wrestling.

Hopefully this is just to promote his appearances on the TV show "Haven". If he is to have an altercation with Christian, I'd prefer it to be backstage where the two cross paths and share a few words. I don't want it to be dragged out in the ring as I can't think of anything it would further significantly.

But he is retired from wrestling, who said he can not show up in another role? As long as they give him something more to do than at Summerslam I think he could boast interest in Smackdown and be quite effective on the show, don't want to see him every week, but this sounds fine.

It is too soon for him to yet again have another guest appearance.

It has now been announced that he will be hosting the Cutting Edge with Henry and Orton as his guests.

Bret Hart and Trish Stratus are rumoured to be on Smackdown as well.

I believe Smackdown will draw better than RAW this week.

I'll tune into the Cutting Edge... RAW does a lot of Canada shows, must know that's where the money's at...
