Edge and Vickie - The worst couple on WWE Television.

First I thought it was a shaggy dog story but they have really dragged this too long and I personally think it’s scandalous and disgraceful of Vickie to kiss Edge so passionately on National Television :kwasny: considering that she is the wife of a wrestling legend who is dead, Eddie Guerrero. Oh, America!

This looks meaningless, Edge an elegant young man and a freaking overweight chubby woman is the love of his life? Give me a break, Vickie can’t even verbalize properly. And what does Theodore Long do? :angry:

He just stands in the corner with no expression on his face whatsoever. I find it disgusting and sickening when Edge and Vickie kiss each other and Teddy long stands in the corner looking at the ceiling it makes me irritated at the writing department. They should end this dreadful no-good storyline because it’s utterly horrible. :fyou: And as for Vickie, she shouldn’t do this on Television. After all, her husband died 2 years ago and she is kissing Edge so passionately and “lovesâ€￾ him on Television.

I doubt it, we might as well see a sex scene on Friday Night Smackdown next week. This is getting worse day by day and I don’t see any reason why they are continuing with this.

Well, I gotta say, I hate it too. Edge goes from sexy Lita, to mother of two, Vickie? Talk about going from Mr. Chow's to McDonalds. anyway....

A few months ago, I predicted he would get with Chavo (before he did) and that he would Make a mockery of Eddie, some way. Whether it was coming out in his old Wrestling Tights, or his low rider, either way, I see it happening. Then he'll be called Edgy Guerrero (lol, maybe not that far) But just don't be surprised if this happens.

Also, I see why Vickie does do this though. I mean, she has to get her money soem way. With Deadie being, well, you know, gone, she needs to get some money. She needs to take care of her family, and now thats her new job (like a Hooker if ya' think about it) As disgusting as it is, thats her new job. In fact, when Kristal left, I believe she was supposed to play that role, but they gave it to Vickie apparently.

As an alternative, I could also see later down the road Edge playing Vickie the whole time just to get the Title, ect.

I just hope to god there is not another whack Wedding like T-Lo's last year....even though I loved seeing The Godfather! U know what they say, Pimpin' Ain't EEEEEEEE-ZZZZZZZZ!

Edge and Lita yes but Edge and Vickie hell no. am pleased Rey broke up the wedding that was the best thing that hes has done this yeah lol. The storyline itself: ...Is it that hard to see?????? She's meant to come off as the deluded older woman being taken advantage of by her younger 'lover' - That IS the story! ...and it totally fits Edge's character - "The Ultimate Opportunist".



IMO all the peeps complaining about the storyline, in fact, just can't handle seeing someone they find particularly undesirable locking tongues on TV.

The show is going on and without Vickie it can still go on, she could have played a better role than being the "love" of Edge on Smackdown if she really wanted to move on.

The problem I have with this is how gross it is. Vickie should just get off my television, and I don't see how it helps Edge since he would have still be main eventing and his lackeys can actually get more into storylines if Vickie wasn't there. So yeah, Vickie fuck off please.

Vickie is on screen because she loves being on screen for the WWE. Eddie is dead basically because he became a professional wrestler, but she has moved on. As for speaking, a lot of people worse at the mic than her are praised for their speaking abilities. Edge and Vickie the worst couple ever?!?! Are you forgetting Mea Young and Mark Henry? She gave birth to a damn hand in that story...Roxxi is right, it's time for everyone to move on already, Yes Eddie was a great talent and will never be forgotten but if Vickie is open to doing this storyline with Edge then regardless how awful it seems, it’s okay in my book. I’m pretty sure if she wasn’t none of this would be happening at the moment.

Second to those who don't understand its purpose, here's a post that I made a LONG time back in another thread. I hope it cleans things up.

I don't understand why everyone is bashing the Edge/Vicky storyline so much. From what I see, Edge doesn't need Vicky. If anything al he's doing is buttering up to someone who is the most powerful person of the Smackdown! brand. Think about it: if Edge has Vicky wrapped around his finger that well then that instantly makes even more of a more dangerous heel than he already is.

Edge is clearly one of the best heels in a long while, especially back on RAW (and hopefully on SD!). Hell, he just may be one of the best heels ever in the company.

Sorry, if I seem too lazy to type this from scratch but its the truth. Edge is indeed the WWE's number one opportunist: a guy who's willing to take ANY shortcut to achieve his goals by ANY means necessary. If he has to kiss up to the ham-beast that is Vicky, so be it. As long as he gets his way in the process, so be it.

Well I don't like Vickie either and I know some people will disagree with what I say but I sort of see sense in the Edge storyline. Think about it from a real perspective (I know wrestling is fake but just imagine it ws real) when someone is widowed they usually take a year or two to move on if they ever do and it looks like Vickie done that and instead of going for a more mature person, she goes with the best option for her and finds herself a toyboy in Edge. Edge realises with Vickie being GM he can take advantage of that no matter what he has to do and once he gets what he needs he can leave her and Vickie is left wishing shenever moved on from Eddie.

That's how I think WWE are using it without saying it in those words.
