It has now been five years since Eddie's death. Five years ago we were all shocked by his sudden and unexpected death and five years later he still lives on in WWE. His wife became a full time member of the roster first as a manager and then as a GM, she became one of the biggest heels in WWE. His nephew Chavo is still in WWE as well and everytime he hits the frogsplash I always think of Eddie as I am sure most do. Recently one of his daughters signed a developmental deal with WWE so the Guerrero legacy will continue to live on.
I still remember what I was doing when I found out the news. I was at school and was in English class and we were in the computer labs meant to be working on some essays and our journal. Rather than doing that I was checking the wrestling news and saw the headline that Eddie Guerrero had died. I assumed that it was an older member of the Guerrero family until I read the entire story and was shocked that it was him.
What are your favourite Eddie moments, promos and matches?
First of all here is the tribute video that WWE made;
