Title vs. Streak
Special Referee: The Rock
Triple H © vs. Undertaker
Before the debacle that was World Wrestling Entertainment before Vince McMahon decided to finally take the threat of Extreme Championship Wrestling seriously, Triple H was the WWE Champion. He was stripped of his belt and put in a fatal four way at the Royal Rumble for the championship. “The Game” came out of this match with the championship title that he never lost in the first place. All the way to the Rumble, Triple H would not let this fact go. Even after the Rumble, Triple H still went on and on about how he was just that damn good. On the other side of the coin, The Undertaker was the last man in the Royal Rumble for the WWE. To many that would automatically mean that he would be the number one contender for Triple H’s WWE title. However, Eric Bischoff needed a main event for the No Way Out Pay Per View. Knowing this, Eric decided to bring back his invention. The Elimination Chamber. This match, which won match of the month honors, was a gruesome bout. At the end of the night, The Undertaker was the man that came out on top. Now the stage was set for Wrestlemania 24. It was going to be The Undertaker vs. Triple H in a title vs. streak match. The week before Wrestlemania was to take place, Eric Bischoff decided to pit two of his hottest rivalries in a tag team match. It was to be The Rock and The Undertaker taking on Triple H and Brock Lesner. This match was very competitive. The ending saw Brock going for the F-5 on ‘Taker. Brock hit and went for the pin. The Rock was there for the save and pulled Brock out the ring. Rock took Brock out of the match and slide into the ring. Triple H was back in the ring. Undertaker went for his big boot but hit Rocky with it. Triple H hit the Pedigree on ‘Taker and got the pin fall. Trips went outside the ring and got his favorite toy, the sledgehammer. “The Cerebral Assassin” went into the ring and was looking to take out “The Deadman” with a vial hammer shot. However, just like earlier it was a miss fire and The Rock was once again nailed by one of the competitors in the Main Event at Wrestlemania. If things could not get worse, Eric Bischoff came out and announced that The Rock was now going to be the special referee for the Triple H vs. Undertaker title match.
ECW World Title Match
60 Minute Iron Man Match
Edge © vs. Shelton Benjamin
Every since Extreme Championship Wrestling was restarted everyone was wondering why Edge decided to be apart of ECW. Well, he made that very clear on his first night in the company. Edge wanted to add the ECW World title to his list of championships. He made this happen on the first night with the help of two masked men. Edge defeated Shelton Benjamin and Chris Jericho in a ladder match. Since Shelton Benjamin had the advantage the majority of the match, he felt he was robbed of the title. He went to Paul Heyman and was placed in a qualifying match for a spot in the Royal Rumble. After three chair shots from Edge and the masked men, before the match even started, AJ Styles was able to hit the Styles Clash and get the victory. It was then revealed that the Major Brothers were the masked men. Edge then said that the “Higher Power” would not be happy until all the belts were in possession of his men. This happened when The Majors won the ECW Tag Team belts. Also, this “Higher Power” was able to get Elijah Burke onto his side. Burke brought along Kofi Kingston and Carlito. This alliance did not last long as Kofi Kingston took the last fall in the Gauntlet match that allowed Benjamin to decide the stipulation of the match after he won the opportunity by running the gauntlet in the Royal Rumble match by starting number one and winning it. Now Edge and his cronies which now included Mr. Kennedy beat down Kofi Kingston. The only man that came to his aid was Carlito. Elijah Burke was stuck in the middle literally. The next week, Carlito and Kofi laid down an ultimatum to Burke. It was either them or the “Higher Power.” Well Burke picked Kofi and Carlito and they dubbed themselves the “Cool Kids.” Needless to say, “The Higher Power” was not happy about this and let every one through Edge that there would be hell to pay at Wrestlemania. This opens the question, will Edge, who does everything that “The Higher Power” says, will he be more focused on “The cool kids” or on defending his priced possession, The ECW World Championship.
Legend vs. Legend Killer
Bret Hart vs. Randy Orton
This is the first battle of ECW vs. WWE. However, it is a battle that is more than a decade in the making. Bret Hart came back to wrestling for one reason. He wanted revenge on Vincent Kennedy McMahon for what happened that long night in Montreal at the Survivor Series. Bret Hart was involved in the Royal Rumble and Vince McMahon was as well. However, Vince did all he could to keep away from Bret. He even forced Rob Van Dam, to protect him and show his loyalty to the WWE. Vince and Bret did not get the chance to lock horns, so Bret challenged Vince to a match at the granddaddy of them all, Wrestlemania. It looked like all signs were ago but at the last moment, Randy Orton came out and ran down Hart. Instead of Hart vs. McMahon it was going to be Legend vs. Legend Killer in the form of Bret Hart as the Legend and Randy Orton being the Legend Killer. The week before Wrestlemania, Teddy Hart, who is apart of the New Hart Foundation, took on Randy Orton. Teddy Hart took Orton to the limit but in the end, the interference of Batista was to much for Hart. After the match, Bret Hart and Jack Evans ran down to help out but Orton and Batista got out of the way. As they headed back up the ramp, Orton got on the microphone and announced that Evolution was back as “Line in the Sand” played. Now, at Wrestlemania, it will not just be a battle of Legend vs. Legend Killer but a battle of Hart Foundation vs. Evolution. Who will come out on top?
Tag Team Warfare
Rob Van Dam and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. Shane and Vince McMahon
One of the most heated rivalries from 1998 takes shape again as “Stone Cold” takes on the McMahon family. However, he will have some back up in the form of RVD. The latest installment of this long-running rivalry started when Vince McMahon named the entrants for the Royal Rumble match representing the WWE. Austin, despite being a three time winner, was not on the list. “Stone Cold” was not happy about this and got his shot to be in the Royal Rumble by facing Vince McMahon who inserted himself into the Rumble. When it looked like Shane McMahon was going to help “Stone Cold” but it just was a scheme set-up by him and his father as Shane purposely got Steve disqualified so that his father would still be in the Rumble. Backing up a little bit, Vince McMahon made RVD his personal servant to prove his loyalty to WWE. After Rob did not eliminate Bret Hart in the Rumble, Vince tried to get Rob Van Dam out of his company. He faced him against Christian in a loser leaves town match which Christian lost. Two weeks before Wrestlemania, Vince put Rob Van Dam and Steve Austin against three of his biggest monsters. Even with the backing of the McMahon family, these men were not able to defeat the renegades. The very next week, Vince put RVD and “Stone Cold” in the bery same match but this time inside of a steel cage. The plans of Vince and Shane were once again defeated as RVD and Steve Austin pinned the three monsters. However, after the match, Rob Van Dam got handcuffed to the steel cage and Austin was beat down and bloodied.
Three Way Dance House of Fun Cage Match
Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk vs. Raven
It started as a gentle shrug on the way back to the locker room. Samoa Joe and CM Punk started respecting each other. They put on a classic match at the Royal Rumble which some saw as the singles match of the night. Now it is getting personal. When CM Punk and Samoa Joe wanted to entertain the fans one more time, it was just a simple matter of what kind of match it would be. After Punk went through a list of matches, it came down to one match. The Fight without Honor match. The fans went ballistic for this match. It was an instant classic until the end of the match. The lights went out and when they came back on, Raven was in the middle of the ring and landed the Raven effect on Punk onto a steel chair. Joe rolled over after he took a GTS and pinned Punk. Raven ended the show by doing his classic taunt over top of Punk. The next week, Punk went after Joe because Raven was no where to be seen. Joe said that he had no idea why Raven was in ECW and no idea why he attacked Punk. So the “Straight-Edge Superstar” went to Paul Heyman and got a match for that night against Samoa Joe for the rubber match. The lights went out near the end of the match and Raven once again in the ring, but this time he had a microphone. Raven cut a promo telling why he was back in ECW. He wanted CM Punk. Samoa Joe interjected that this was not any of Raven’s business and he just needed to leave what was left in Ring of Honor in Ring of Honor. Raven said that if Joe wanted then he could join the fun. The House of Fun Cage. Because Raven had a little surprise for Joe and Punk. At Wrestlemania it would be a Three Way Dance House of Fun Cage Match with everything on the line.
Money in the Bank Match
Kane vs. Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesner vs. Umaga vs. Jack Evans vs. AJ Styles vs. Shane Helms vs. Elijah Burke
The Money in the Bank match up is the highlight of the event most years and this year it should be no different. With the powerhouse of Brock Lesner, Kane and Umaga from the WWE. The Olympic Gold medalist in Kurt Angle, High Flying Cruiserweights wit AJ Styles, Shane Helms, and Jack Evans. Also the wild card in the event, Elijah Burke. All of these men had different paths to get to this match. Firstly Kurt Angle came to ECW turf to beat ECW superstar Montel Vontavious Porter to earn his spot. Brock Lesner once again defeated The Rock to earn his spot in this match. Umaga and Kane were involved in a match that ended in a draw. Ric Flair was to be in this match by defeating John Cena. However, after John Cena bloodied Flair and took him out, Eric Bischoff decided to put Kane and Umaga in the match. On the ECW side of things AJ Styles won his spot in an amazing match against Rey Mysterio. Jack Evans won his match against Chris Jericho. Paul Heyman let it know that he wanted to bring the bang to the Money in the Bank match. With the next match up between Shane Helms and Christopher Dainels. Shane got the W when the newly contracted Shannon Moore helped him. After the match, Shane and Shannon reformed the group known as Three Count. The last match was a three way between friends when Elijah Burke vs. Carlito vs. Kofi Kingston. Elijah won after a terrific match up and after the match they were still friends. Now the stage was set. Eight men all wanting to climb the ladder of success. The ladders have been bought and are going to be set up at Wrestlemania 24 for all the world to admire.
Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena
This one is personal. John Cena attacked Shawn Michaels mentor, Ric Flair. John Cena played Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. Everyone thought that John wanted help in guiding his career. All it seems that Cena wanted is a new way to get noticed. He went after Ric Flair and tried to shoot the old man down. This one is simple. John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels. Wrestlemania. It will be greatness.

Mr. Kennedy vs. Jeff Hardy
Once Matt Hardy was taken out by Edge and his cronies, Jeff was left by his own. Matt was out for up to six months and Mr. Kennedy had just quit the WWE. He wanted to make a big impact and what better way to do it than to go after Jeff Hardy. Mr. Kennedy first used what some would say is his greatest weapon, his mouth, to rile Jeff up. Then Kennedy showed his alliance with Edge to take Jeff out. However, they didn’t finish the job. Hardy went to Paul Heyman and requested a First Blood match. This was a result of the blood that Mr. Kennedy would have dropped onto Hardy during times he was in the arena. Kennedy did not want this match but Paul told him that he would be fired if he did not go through wit the match. With one week until Wrestlemania, Kennedy and Hardy were set to lock horns. However, before the match, Mr. Kennedy distracted the referee as the blood substance dropped on Hardy. The referee had no choice but to award the match to Kennedy as he did not know what was going to happen. Paul Heyman then came out and stated that this was “Bullshit.” That is his words and not mine. Paul let Mr. Kennedy know that he was to be facing Jeff in a Falls Count Anywhere match at Wrestlemania. He ended it by saying that there would be no place to run.
