TNA Impact on Thursday, November 22 2012 Thanksgiving show was seen by approximately 1.18 million viewers. Due to the very nature of how Nielson calculates its average rating, it's difficult to assume a definitive number. However by comparison , the The August 9th 2012 edition of IMPACT Wrestling scored a 0.89 with 1.2 million viewers.

Impact Wrestling was ranked in 70th place out of the top 100 shows airing on TV for the night. It scored a 0.4 average amongst the key 18-49 demographic.

Definitive numbahs from credible sites:

The Thanksgiving edition of TNA Impact Wrestling television show drew a 0.8 rating with an audience of 1,187,000 viewers (down from last week’s 1.35 million viewers). By comparison, last year’s Thanksgiving episode drew 1,405,000 viewers.

Solid, must say.

Funny (or interesting) thing is this: from her Gutcheck tryout to now, Taeler Hendrix has appeared in 3 segments and they've all drawn increases in viewership. Not too shabby for a brand new talent. :obama:

Last Thursday's Thanksgiving episode of Impact Wrestling garnered a 0.77 rating with 1.187 million viewers.

The numbers were down significantly from the prior week's episode, which scored a 1.07 rating with 1.353 million viewers.

The episode fell on Thanksgiving, however the show has usually held up well on the holiday in previous years. PWTorch noted that the episode garnered the lowest rating for a Thursday night episode in nearly six years, and was down 22% from last year's Thanksgiving show.

It does effect the ratings drammatically actually (or has before earlier timeslot). Now, not so much.

This episode drew around average 2012 viewership (ince going to 8pm), and that's why it's solid. I tbh, expected below 1 million viewers and 0.6 rating lol.

Thanksgiving has never really affected them before apparently. The new timeslot is Blue though, it really needs to go back to 9pm. Worst ratings in 6 years is not a good thing. Not that it bothers us because the product is still great, but it must be demoralizing for TNA.

Indeed, they're putting on such great shows and an overall great product and their ratings are low. Should go back to 9 PM, I wonder what stops them. I think Testify told me a few days back, does Spike have programming planned for 10 PM?

Apparently, the Bellator MMA crap will be in 10pm slot in 2013, hence why we'll have to wait a LOT to see this ratings really improve (that is back to 9pm). :upset:
