Drew Dober meets newcomer Nick Hein at UFC Fight Night 41 in Berlin
A lightweight bout between Drew Dober (14-5 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and newcomer Nick Hein (10-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is the latest addition to the recently announced UFC Fight Night 41 event in Germany.
UFC officials today announced the bout.
UFC Fight Night 41 takes place May 31 at O2 World Berlin. The entire card streams on UFC Fight Pass.
On Thursday, a middleweight bout between Gegard Mousasi (34-4-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Mark Munoz (13-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) was announced as the card’s headliner.
Dober, who suffered a loss during the elimination round on “The Ultimate Fighter 15,†recently got a second chance with the UFC after posting a five-fight winning streak on the regional circuit. However, the 25-year-old Nebraskan faltered in his official UFC debut and suffered a decision loss to Sean Spencer at the TUF 18 Finale in November.
Hein, a German fighter who’s won five straight on the European circuit, now gets to fight in his home country on MMA’s biggest stage. The 29-year-old judoka most recently fought at a Fair FC event, where he dropped to lightweight and scored a decision win over Michael Erdinc.
