Current TNA agent Tommy Dreamer is putting on his House of Hardcore IV event in Poughkeepsie, New York tonight and blasted TNA President Dixie Carter during an in-ring segment after Bully Ray was pulled from the show.
The segment began with Dreamer coming to the ring with Abyss and Devon. Dreamer announced that a nationally syndicated TV show would be filming tonight and for legal reasons, he can't say what it is but when it happens, we will know and react to it. Dreamer said his promotion is taking small steps like what happened last time and the coverage that Bully previously Ray brought them. He said this is another step like that.

Dreamer then said that with good news, there is bad news and said someone is missing from the ring. At that point someone yelled, "f*** you Dixie."

Dreamer was called at 11:30pm on Thursday night and informed that Bully Ray was pulled by Dixie so he could addend some sort of Spike TV show. Dreamer called Dixie a mark for Twitter and told fans to feel free to tweet her and let her know how they feel. A "f*** that b****" chant broke out next

Dreamer said that Bully wanted him to pass on an offer for the fans. If any fans are attending upcoming TNA events in Pennsylvania or New York, they can bring their HOH ticket stub and Bully will meet them for a photo and autograph. Bully said that's not for TNA, it's for the HOH fans.

Dreamer went on to say that he promises to get Dixie back for having Bully pulled from the show. Dreamer said he's tired of people like Dixie abusing people like him and the fans. He then said, "b***h, I will get you for this."

This then turned into an angle where Abyss attacked Dreamer and Devon. Abyss talked about how Dixie had kept him employed all these years. Abyss went heel on the fans and continued the attack, defending TNA. Rhino ended up coming out but turned and took out Dreamer, leading to a new main event of Dreamer and Devon vs. Abyss and Rhino.

Exec? Dixie is a TNA President, last I remember

Anyway, all things considered including DIxie's tweet to Bully yesterday (and reading PWInsider and PWtorch), this is mostly a work. Cooperation between HOH and TNA continues.

If it's a work it blows ass. How many people paid for that show expecting to see Bully?

Seriously she can eat shit and die. That is the worst PR Campaign of all time ffs. Shitting on fans who were told Bully would be there just for the sake of it.

I absolutely despise loving a company for their staff tbh. TNA should lose Roode, Storm, Aries, Ion, Bully, Anderson, and so many more to Double J's promotion just so we can all have the satisfaction of watching Taz Tenay Dixie and the other hacks drown together. I'd pay to watch it.

Monster’s Ball: Abyss vs. Tommy Dreamer

Abyss came to the ring first. The crowd chanted, “F*** TNA” before dying down. He asked the crowd if they were through. The chant started again. Abyss asked if this was Philadelphia, the birthplace of extreme and hardcore. The crowd chanted “ECW.” He said, “You people just can’t get over it, can you? You just can’t leave it in the past.” He said that what the fans were about to witness is the future because ECW is dead. He said what they were going to witness was his match, the Monster’s Ball, which belongs to Dixie Carter and “the greatest wrestling organization ever, TNA.” He began chanting the letters. The match begins (...)
Abyss went under the ring and grabbed a bag of thumb tacks. He spread them on the mat and place Dreamer on the top. Abyss followed and teased a superplex. Dreamer fought his way out with a series of rights and sent Abyss down into the tacks. Dreamer nailed a DDT for a two count.

Dreamer pulled some barbed wire out from under the ring. Dreamer set it up in the middle of the ring but was grabbed for a chokeslam. Dreamer fought his way out with some big punches and went for a Spicoli Driver. Abyss slipped out and went for a chokeslam. Dreamer bit his hand. Abyss nailed a Black Hole Slam into the barbed wire. Dreamer got his shoulder up. Abyss killed him with a big chokeslam into the tacks and pinned Dreamer.

Your winner, Abyss!

Abyss took the ring mic and said that he was the new king of hardcore wrestling. He said that as for Dreamer and all his ECW rejects, there’s only one company that rules – TNA.

If TNA agreed to this work, just lmao @ them. Dreamer is wisely using the hell out of them either way, and either way, work or not, TNA looks like blueberries.

Seabs was right, it's all too convient not to be some sort of work, and biggest clue to that is Bully Ray inviting HOH fans to come where? To PA and NYC where TNA tapes later this month, the states where HOH just held two shows this weekend. Plus, there is Abyss and Dreamer, two TNA employees (!), constantly mentioning TNA etc etc. Damn work. Oh and I nearly forgot, Bully was on that Spike awards show last night, so he couldn't have made it anyway.

D'Z, I won't agree or disagree with your statement about TNA being blueberries for doing this, but hey at least TNA is being talked about. Any talk > no talk at all, I guess it works for TFA

If that is their mentality I guess more power to them, they got what they wanted. I just know I wouldn't sign off on letting my promotion be used like that. I guess it makes it seem like Dixie has control of something though, which is probably what she ultimately wanted.

For those who have asked whether the House of Hardcore announcement that Bully Ray was pulled was chapter one of some sort of inter-promotional angle, that is not the case. Tommy Dreamer was informed that Bully Ray had been pulled from the weekend at the last minute. Since Ray was working the shows as part of the deal where Dreamer's HOH helped TNA fill the house when they ran a One Night Only taping in Poughkeepsie, obviously he wasn't thrilled about having to change a main event that had been advertised for some time. When Dreamer cut the promo on Friday about Dixie Carter, he specifically noted it was not part of the show and was only for the live fans in attendance. Obviously he was making Carter and TNA the heels in an attempt to pop the live crowd (which worked big-time, as it was one of the biggest reactions of the night) but for those who were asking if this was chapter one of a planned angle or storyline that would bleed over to TNA TV, that was not the case when Dreamer went to the ring. Dreamer is still, as of this writing, working as an agent for TNA. The Bully Ray offer to meet any fans who had a HOH ticket stub at any of the upcoming TNA events in PA or NY was something Ray, not TNA, offered, although TNA had to approve it. But, none of this was any grand planned angle.

:lool::silva:

In a funny "only in wrestling" story, The Sandman showed up in Poughkeepsie on Friday, even though Tommy Dreamer had never booked him for the show. So, he was written in. Dreamer often jokes that Sandman is his "lucky charm."
