Announced by Namco Bandai today, Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will allow players to perform more than 100 moves including the legendary Kamehameha. The game is in development by Spike Chunsoft and will include characters, attacks and battles directly from the original manga series.
The game will feature new anime footage unveiled for the first time in the United States and Europe. The Kinect will also support QR functionality, allowing players to hold up QR codes to unlock special characters and power-ups.
Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will include first-person battles that require players to move in the same position as their character to recreate famous scenes. The game will feature "giant boss battles" in Story Mode, as well as a Score Attack mode that allows players to compete in one-on-one battles to earn the highest score.
"There's going to be no better feeling in the world for fans of the Dragon Ball Z series than standing in front of their screens and unleashing their own fists and raging blasts upon enemies with this game," said Namco Bandai vice president of marketing Carlson Choi.
"The Kinect sensor has truly enabled the development team to finally realize the dreams of millions of fans of both the classic games and the timeless original anime. This game will truly represent the next generation of interactive entertainment in the Dragon Ball Z universe."
Don't have Kinect anymore, if i did i might have given it a chance. Pretty interesting concept though.
