*DRAFT SPOILERS* Alleged original plan for the Street Profits

Going into the WWE Draft, a split of the Street Profits with each member going their own way to their own brand was considered.

The idea was first reported by PWInsider Monday and discussed by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

The original concept was Montez Ford moving to Raw while Angelo Dawkins would remain on SmackDown. However, WWE decided to split up the team of T-Bar (Raw) and Mace (SmackDown) instead.

Ford and Dawkins were drafted to Raw with the first pick of the fourth round Monday. Ford's wife, Bianca Belair, was taken with Raw's second pick of the first round on last Friday's draft kickoff on SmackDown.

Originally drafted to Raw in October 2019, Ford and Dawkins have held both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team titles along with the NXT Tag Team titles.

The two-night draft event concluded Monday with the new rosters taking effect on Friday, October 22nd, the day after Crown Jewel.

Probably a good idea they didn’t spit them. They probably could do good on their own, I surely feel Ford could…. But Dawkins I feel wouldn’t do to great by himself personally.

Angelo Dawkins on the other hand...

Pretty sure it's been mentioned before they see good things for Montez in a singles fashion. Definitely has the charisma to make it work along with the athleticism.

Montez definitely got a bright future on his own, bags of charsima and a great look. Dawkins will probably get lost in the shuffle without Street Profits. He's a tag team guy for me.

It would have been way too soon to split both of up since they still have a lot of gas in the tank as a team. Montez has a bright future in the WWE. He will be fine but Dawkings, I don't think so.

Montez Ford will break this team up when he eventually breaks his body from them dumb ass dives he does.

I don't like either of them, but Ford is more likely to make it alone than Dawkins.
