Ok so if anyone remembers TNA when CC was there and It was AJ and Tomko tagging. You know how horrible AJ was as a heel. They made him look Blue with Angle and a dumb blonde if you will. Now he has turned once again do you think TNA will screw it up or will they do a better job? Do you think Flair can help it any or not?

There's a reason Flair's there. AJ has zero mic skills and almost no charisma. He kinda sucks outside his obscene in-ring ability. Flair was the biggest and best heel of the 80s-mid 90s. He is easily one of the top mic men ever. You put perhaps the company's top worker with one of the industry's top heels and mic men ever, BAM! I've been saying it since the Monday Impact, this is one of the good things TNA is doing.

Finally someone else says AJ has little charisma. He sounds like a common hick on the mic. I'm glad they brought Flair in as a manager. I've always approved of Flair on the mic, because he can make sub standard guys look like gold (see, Batista, Orton).

I just hope that they don't take the cheap route and make it HHH w/Flair v.2

I still don't see why the sudden turn was necessary. They could have had Flair take Styles' under his wing and very slowly had Styles start to adopt Flair's WHEELIN AND DEALIN~ attitude. Flair constantly stealing the mic and go on about how Styles is the best in the world would have solved the problem of Styles' sub-par mic skills, while also making more sense in a broad-range booking sense.

TNA is hot shotting storylines left and right about now. One week Beer Money could be feuding with British Invasion, the next week they have to deal with "The Band". On week World Elite are the dominant heel faction, the next week Eric Young doesn't even get any mic time. One week Homicide knows who Suicide is, the next week he's feuding with Amazing Red for no reason whatsoever. One week Shannon Moore & Jeff Hardy show up, the next week no mention of them being with the company is ever made. One week these half a dozen wrestlers swerve face, the next week another half a dozen wrestlers swerve heel.

It's a mindfuck.

AJ styles as Heel. :)

See I loved Styles in that role, because I don't necessarily believe that to be a great wrestler you have to be SRS ANGRY PERSON~ all the time. I don't know, I see where people come from that he was hard to take seriously, but I liked that he had a juxtaposed personality to his in-ring style. That, and he was the PERFECT foil to Christian's TNA character.

There is no way they are making him a comic heel. TNA cannot do that or else they might as well just close their doors because it would be the stupidest move ever.

I don't think he will be a comic heel this time around. Perhaps a more narcissistic (SP?) role and a 'wheelin and deelin' Flair protege Randy Orton 2002-3 role

I actually like the move. Look how stale AJ Styles have become. His feuds are usually in the middle of Impact and rarely close out the weekly show. Nobody really remembers who he's feuding with most of the time. This gives AJ new found relevance to bring him to the top of everyone's minds when they think of TNA again.

Personally I don't like it. They should have gone all out and push him as their all out top babyface, ie TNA's version of John Cena. Meh, this could be good, but I just see it as a cheap rip off of HHH w/Flair.

Besides, this leaves TNA very weakened on the face side of things.
