I posted it here because it relates to WWE, since Vince McMahon started XFL. Okay, so I was browsing as usual, then I saw a video that caught my eye. I'm a Trump supporter, and it's interesting to learn something new about Trump. This one relates to XFL, because if you see the video.. you'd connect the dots. There's no secret that Vince and Trump are friends, this video puts a lightbulb into my mind. XFL was meant to compete with NFL, and the originator of the idea was - Trump wanted his own league but didn't have the sports expertise to start and scale one.

At the time of the unveil, I thought it was a smart business move; WWE was at the top of their game with the Attitude Era, and it's like there's nothing that can go wrong. But it did. NFL was still rising, and still profitable, still relevant. Not anymore.

So, with everything that's been happening in the NFL, what's your opinion since you're armed with new information...?

The XFL was awesome. My hometown growing up had one of the teams.

I went to several games and really enjoyed them. It was supposed to be a big deal and bring a lot of revenue to our area. It's a shame it flopped.

The strippers....uh.....cheerleaders I mean we're worth the price of a ticket alone.

It didn't draw and injuries were a problem almost immediately. But for someone who grew up playing NFL Blitz on The original Playstation it was a dream come try to have a real football league with NFL Blitz rules.

The last few games before closing they are literally giving tickets away. I rarely paid for a ticket, seems someone's parents always got some from work or from someone they knew.
