Dogs and WWE

Ok, I was just readin around the internet a bit and saw that the Westminster Dog Show will be airing on Feb 11, 2008, which is a Monday at 8-11 PM. Now I know they have done this many times before with the WWE, but this just shows where the USA network sets its priorities. They would rather have a dog show over a wrestling show that has been on their network for basically 10+ years. I just dont get it. They are 165 other hrs in a week that they could air this, but choose the Raw timeslot?

What do you people think about this?

That dog show has been going on for years and lately they've either shown the show on a Thursday or on Sci-Fi which is under USA so it's really not a big deal to the network.

its been like this forever, and thats for one simple reason. Even though RAW will get the higher rating, the dog show will get more ad money. because lets face it even though wrestling hits a great demographic companies are giong to be more hestatnent to be acoeated with them.

WWE has been turning into shit.
All these people are cappin on wwe. and they are banning wrestling moves and releasing superstars. It's groups like Parents Television Council and networks having standards and crazy bitches like stephanie mcmahon who write scripts that isn't anywhere near edgy, and people expecting to have a ridiculously high pay like three quarters of a mill a year, and expensive ass pay per views. Stephanie should be stripped of her postition and shane should take it over. Stephanie should be global media. I can right a better script then she can.
So if vince made the WWE a more edgy, extreme company he'd lose a couple bucks.

people want ladder matches. People want bra and panties. People want Shaniqua and Jazz. Or some boring ass superstars like Santino Marella.

I'd rather watch a fucking dog show then raw which is nowhere near as entertaining as it could be.

Im pretty sure the dog show, which has been around for almost 100 years, has a contract with USA. Do we really need a thread on this? Heaven forbid peepshow goes one week without raw. Kinda funny if you think about it.

Wrong.. WHo are you to doubt El Doggies? That Dog show gets about twice as many viewers as RAW does. That, and the money they make from the sponsors is the reason why USA network continues to air the show year in and year out.

well right now USA doesn't even know if they are going to re-sign RAW when the contract comes up
