Just throwing shit against the wall here. Thunder helped with the demise of WCW. Having said that, there's a portion of the roster that's squeezed in on Impact. Could they feature a show on Thursday for the others? Maybe they could have X and Global title matches on this show periodically as a main event. This show could only be one hour. Yay, nay or go away?

Splitting a large lump of shit into two won't make the shit any nicer.

One of TNA's problems are that they try getting everyone on on tv, thus making the show a huge cluster fuck. Having 2 shows would help out with that. But then someone told me that when WcW got to shows, that's when they started messing up. And Bischoff said 2 shows buts a lot of pressure on the writers and stuff. So no, they don't shouldn't get another show.

Honestly, I do think that a second show would help to an extent being that it would give some of the other guys who don't get as much on-air time as they deserve/want they could ship the lower card/X division guys over there and get some exposure on national TV. But at the same time like JBonez said its a huge risk, once wCw got Thunder is when everything went downhill.

They should try firing people. I know it's rough but they probably have twice the roster size they need.

IMO I would love to see TNA have a second show here in the US. It would of course be a showcase of undercard talent. Maybe it could be an all X-Division show, or could use X Division and mid-card talent together.

One problem would be how this would do in the ratings. The first two Impacts at the beginning of the New Monday Night Wars ( Not counting the January 4th show) scored about a 1.0 and 0.8 rating respectively. This show I could imagine scoring a rating between 0.3-0.5 which would be a disaster, i mean superstars scores a 1.0 rating right now I believe and that's an hour show.

And TNA would still have issues with storylines and direction. Most of these angles are clumped together like the Bischoff angle with Jarret and Foley, now we got not only Beer Money and RVD and Jeff Hardy involved, and don't get me started with the Kurt Angle Mr. Anderson and Hogan, Abyss angles which are both dumb imo(Hogan and Abyss especially).

And one more thing, I don't think Thunder did the most to demise WCW. I mean back before Nitro came on the air they had WCW Saturday Night which was a good show, and if your talking about the demise of WCW dont forget how bad some of the storylines were( David Arquette winning the World Title).

They can just use global impact as a second show. I mean it has one or two matches on the show followed with impact highlights. Add 2 more matches tot he show and you got more talent being used.

^^ No one watches regualr Impact.

And that's the problem. They have a roster of a national promotion, but they're an over glorified indy and a fanbase that's smaller than ECW's (true, not WWECW) was. They have a shitload of talent and no space, use or demand for them or their product. TNA needs to contract, not expand. No sense in diluting a diluted product.

They can't even get it right with the two hours of television they have now.

I think they should extend Impact to 3 Hours. That way there wont be fighting for air time the way it seems. Also, a second show that would be some what like Velocity. Where theres no promos, nothing but some under carders getting air time, and high lights of Impact. And it can air maybe inbetween tapings of impact. And would air at say, 10:00 on a Saturday or so.

Not only would it help guys like Homocide, Raven, Rhino, etc get noticed again, but it would also hype story lines more. The more commentators talk about rivalries and how great of a match it will be, people will get in there minds that its an intense rivalry. For example, the Shawn Michaels/ Undertaker match for Sundays WrestleMania is being hyped very, very well. Not only by the few promos by Michaels/ Undertaker, but by the awesome video packages being played 2-3 times each show. And the commentators constanly talking about the match. You dont always need wrestlers cutting promos to hype matches, and TNA needs to realize that.

No they dont need to extend impact to 3 hours. I mean their getting shitty ratings with 2 hours right now. Although I still wouldn't mind seeing a show from TNA that would showcase their Mid-card and X Division talents with no promos, they need to change their product like I mentioned above and do a better job of advertising.

^^^3 hours isn't the worst idea. That's killing two birds with one stone. It was successful on the Jan. 4 Impact. When Nitro was at its apex they would use the first hour for promos, the second hour for cruiserweight matches and the third for the main event type matches. TNA has just enough of all 3 to fill in the time.

It certainly wouldn't hurt right now to try.
