When you think about all the shit that you want to do, could do, should do, etc. and how time is so precious and limited, don't you feel there just aren't enough hours in the day to begin with? Don't you wish days were longer and closer to being around 35-40 hours (or at least 30-32) instead of just 24? (And I also mean that the human body would be able to stay awake longer as well. Let's say the average time to rest is still the same.)

I wish life was longer. :smirk2:

Well, life technically would be longer going by my scenario. :hmmm: If you add an extra 10-15 hours to every day that you lived, you're looking at several more years of life than what you get right now.

Adding extra hours to a day would mean less days alive, not more. lol If we had 12 hour days instead of 24 hours we would live twice as long, so to speak. Instead of 80 years it would be 160.

I'm going with the idea that the average number of years you live would still be the same, just with more hours in each day. I should have mentioned that in my original post as well. :)

Ah gotcha. Yeah well, why the heck would anyone not like this? Assuming this means more younger/healthier years as apposed to "back to the diaper and no teeth" years. lol

If we feel like we'd love to have 30 hours a day instead of 24, wouldn't we just beg for 36 then?

No because if days were longer, than you're still going to age the same rate... you're still going to have to sleep as much as you do... and you'll probably just get sucked in to working more.
