Do you want him back for Mania?

It seems 90% of people have a man-crush on Striker, not totally sure why, but does anyone want JR back in the Cole/King/JR trifecta for Mania?

I've always loved the 'oh my gawd' tone of JR, and I think this just builds to matches etc. I don't know if he can actually be back for Mania, but I personally would love to see him back. Striker's good, but I just like the Cole/King/JR combo so much more.

JR has become the voice of the WWE in the past 2 decades or so. He has called some of the greatest matches of all time and his voice is at legendary status. Ill just say this. I feel that if JR dosent come back for WM. That the quality of the PPV would be lesser than if he did call the show.

If it's like a limited deal with WM then it would be cool to see. But I"m not so sure I want him back full time. The announcing teams on SD and NXT are good, Cole/King on RAW are shit obviously. Seeing JR/King or JR/Cole would be better but that would probably mean some uncertain changes. Matthews or Grisham might not be announcing or we might see Matthews/Grisham on NXT, which I don't think would be good.

I like Matt Striker. He's like a more entertaining Mike Tenay. He has the knowledge and history. It's great when he adds that tidbit of obscure info. The only thing he lacks is excitement.

...Yet he 'marks' out like hell when on commentary? (Comes accross a damn sight more genuinely enthusiastic than another of the other guys the 'E have... His insight only helps matters further.)

How exactly, in your opinion, does he lack "excitement"?

Honestly I love Striker on commentary but JR is one of, if not the greatest play-by-play men ever imo. I believe in an interview he said one of his biggest announcing dreams to call both The Undertaker and HBK's final matches and being that both of them are on the verge of retirement it would be awesome to see/hear JR get to announce HBK/Taker II if nothing else lol.

I agree I would be Shocked if JR doesn't at least make an appearance at Wrestlemania. A JBL return would be cool to but I'd rather see him in the booth with Matt Stryker and Micheal Cole for just one night. Imagine the tension that would be built between the three of them

I love JR commentating on the big matches. It adds a whole new dimension to the match for me, since he gets so into it. Even his faults tend to make it better, when his voice gets all raspy the longer the match goes.

So yeah, I'd like to see him back at Mania. If only for the Bret/Vince match, since JR always makes Vinces matches that much better imo (eg. Vince vs HBK @ WM 22)

Sorry but that's one of the gayest things I've heard in a while. So, last minute in a classic HBK/Taker fued we throw JBL in because some people want to hear him on mic, only to have him cost HBK the win...then re-start the lame fued from 2009 pre-Mania? I think not.

Absolutely. Fuck, JR was priceless during that match, lol. I really do love that match for JR...
