I think CM Punk was a much better wrestler than he is as an MMA fighter. He doesn't have a lot of years under his belt in terms of actual fighting, he signed with the UFC in 2014 and didn't even have his first fight until two years ago (which he lost) and got brutalized in his second fight which was just last night. I understand that he's only had two fights and doesn't have a lot of experience yet but it's been 4 years since he signed with the UFC and got destroyed within a matter of minutes. CM Punk is also nearly 40 years old and started his career much later and is already beaten up from years of the wear and tear from his wrestling career, he had a staph infection that almost killed him in the WWE and dealt with the politics and all of that crap. So for those reasons I get why he doesn't want to come back to wrestling but as for him being in the UFC, he just doesn't cut it. Punk should've stuck with wrestling. He doesn't have to go back to the WWE but at least it'll be great to see him again in a different company.

Back to wrestling or back to WWE?

Back to WWE (as a wrestler)... No.
Back to wrestling... Also, no.

He said he is done with both. He kind of stinks at MMA but if he wants to do that with his life, that is his choice.

I think him coming back to WWE down the road as a manager or on commentary would be good though but very unlikely.

Why must Punk choose between MMA or wrestling? He's got the money to kick back and relax for the rest of his life. Presenting this as if he only has two choices is silly.

No. He seems to be too much of a Debbie Downer these days.

No, he's not passionate about the business anymore.. You can tell when he talks about it.. There's millions of ways to make money, do something you enjoy doing.. Continue fighting, write more comic books, maybe try his hand in acting..

This is more than his disdain for WWE.. It's killed his passion for the business in general.. It's been 4 years and he feels the same exact way. I truly believe he's finished.

Would he feel comfortable in WWE again? He made his feelings about the company abundantly clear and I think it'd be dishonest of him to go back on them. After all, pride and integrity are built on standing firmly by our beliefs and CM Punk looks like someone who means what he says. I for one don't believe he should go back. The company's still under Vince's thumb and his son in law would certainly rally to his defense should it be threatened. Maybe when the Mcmahons aren't in control, Punk would be in a position to return, but not until then.

So, I guess we won't know in this lifetime. Unless...?
