There was a report not so long ago that WWE officials (including Vince) really trust Ziggler and Bryan for constantly delivering match quality. Though it was probably Meltzer so it probably means they are both being fired soon.

Yes, he will. He's evolved a lot as a character and on the mic, is really over already and I don't have to comment on ring work. It's just a matter of time.

I think if they were gonna pull the trigger on it at any point within the next 2-3 years then they would have done so in his fued with Punk a few months ago. He was the most over guy in the entire WWE at that point and let's be honest, if Vince was certain he could perform in the ring at that point then when is he gonna be?

I don't, however, think it will be Christian levels of overdueness (Dats a Ralbinism right dere), it will happen in the next 4-5 years I reckon.

I actually think his RoH mic work was just as good if not better from the little I've seen, I'm sure there was one about his eye which was fantastic that hopefully someone can post.

Personally I think he should have been the champion at the peak of the YES chants. Vince loves mainstream attention (literally has a fetish for it) and that chant was breaking into NBA games and everything.

Well there were many superstars that served as competition to christian though, how many guys out there can pose a big threat to the spotlight for bryan?

I expect him to eventually get it. If they build him up right of course.
