Oh, God, yes. Sushi is like my favorite food in the world. The thing I miss about Illinois the most is they have a kaiten sushi restaurant where the sushi is the best I have ever had. Plus, there is a Japanese market by where I used to live and I used to buy all sorts of Japanese food. Miso soup, ingredients for egg rolls, they have imported soft drinks and sakes and beers. I used to always get green tea ice cream from there.
For one of my birthdays, my family took me to a Japanese restaurant and reserved a tea room for us. LOL my mom did not like the food at all, but my sister and I loved it.
An exception is Japanese spaghetti. It's like noodles with ketchup on it.
