Do I need a license, permission, etc.for these Art Careers

Lately I have decided to go back to my original dream of making indie comics and scale figures of influential people.

Example of one of my ideas:

Dream Fantasy Match (Ex: The
Rock vs Muhammad Ali, Undertaker vs Sting, Bruce Lee vs Brock Lesnar)

Influential Sports and Action Stars Scale figure

These are some examples of what I plan to do.

Do I need some kind of permission or license for that?

Yes u need permission to used licensed material if u are making money from it. If u made a comic for fun or just artistic purposes u wouldn't

But you have to make sure you make a statement denouncing ownership and direct people to the real owners of the characters and any likeness to said characters or they can still make a claim if they really wanted to.
