DJ Gabriel's future in doubt? Edge Update

ECW wrestler DJ Gabriel’s future is said to be very much in doubt following the departure of his manager Alicia Fox to SmackDown in the Supplemental Draft. In a trivia note, Gabriel has not competed in a singles match on an episode of ECW on Sci Fi in over a month — since March 10th.

- Edge is working the European tour on the RAW brand side. The tour started tonight in Dublin, Ireland with John Cena retaining his World Heavyweight Championship against the “Rated-R Superstar.â€￾

- This week’s episode of ECW on Sci Fi scored a 1.3 cable rating, which is in line with what the show has done in recent weeks.

- It’s been acknowledged by many people within WWE that the reason MMA legend Frank Shamrock was sitting with Mickey Rourke for WrestleMania at ringside was because Rourke wanted a tough guy there in case Jericho or someone else tried to jump him.

I've never even seen that guy wrestle once, is he any good? Don't know how reliable this is, and it's likely he won't even be released, but he heasn't been seen in a month and a half, so it doesn't look good.

Horrible gimmick (The Bodydonnas on E, anyone?), unremarkable in the ring, a face yet still deemed to need a manager... This doesn't suprise me at all.

I wasn't a fan of the guy by any means, but they never really gave him a fair shot. I thought he was alright in the ring. I'd try and repackage him.

They could send him back to developmental and repackage him with a proper gimmick, to at least give him a chance.
