TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter was a guest on the "Bubba the Love Sponge" show Friday morning, here's a recap of that interview.

Bubba and the boys welcomed Dixie on the show. Bubba mentioned that he is a very close friend with Hulk Hogan. When asked if Dixie would ever consider bringing Hogan into TNA she said, we've (TNA and Hogan) have had many talks over the years and maybe one day you'll see him in TNA. Dixie went on to say that Hogan is an "amazing man", he's bigger than any brand, he's a "household name" and who wouldn't want to be associated with a person like that.

Bubba went on to talk about some wrestlers in TNA. Sting was mentioned and Dixie said that Sting is a "class act". Bubba and the boys talked about the segment with Kurt Angle at Sting's son at the football game last week on Impact. Dixie said she thought the segment was great. Dixie added that she thinks Sting is coming back into his own and he's giving back to the wrestling business.

They moved on to talk about Christian Cage. Dixie said that the fans always knew that Christian could be a big star but he was never given a break in WWE. Dixie went on to say that Christian is an amazing person and has amazing gifts; he can talk and wrestle. Bubba quickly mentioned Samoa Joe and Dixie said that the Christian vs. Samoa Joe match at Bound for Glory can steal the show and it will be a very interesting match.

Bubba asked if we will ever see a Scott Hall and Kevin Nash reunion in TNA, Bubba forgot Nash was in TNA, Dixie reminded Bubba that Nash was on the roster. Dixie said that Kevin Nash is a great guy and an amazing talent and she would like to see him put on the boots again for one last run. As for Scott Hall, Dixie said she doesn't really know if he's ready to come back but she said she would never rule it out.

Bubba and the boys brought put Pacman Jones. Dixie said that Pacman is trying to get back in the NFL early, hopefully within 4-5 weeks. Bubba asked if Pacman were to come back to TNA, if he could work in the NFL off-season, Dixie said he could. The discussion moved from Pacman to other sports figures that have been in TNA over the years. Dixie mentioned Johnny Damon and A.J. Pierzynski, Dixie added that a lot of sports guys are big wrestling fans.

When asked if Dixie would ever be an on-camera personality, Dixie said that she doesn't want to be on-camera. Dixie stated that the company is not about her, it's "about the guys and the Knockouts". She said that she is a very strong driving force behind the scenes, she works hard and does her best. Dixie said that she really appreciates the fans, she goes out before the shows and talks with them. Dixie then added that she listens to the fans and they're the ones the company should listen to, not our own egos.

Bubba brought up Raw's 2.8 rating. Dixie said that the fans have been insulted over the years, she said that the guys in TNA offer something different than WWE - what the guys do in the ring (in TNA) and the creative stuff from guys like Christian and Angle is great. Dixie wished WWE the best because it's better for the wrestling fans and the wrestling business to have two big companies for the wrestlers and fans to have a choice. Bubba asked if Vince McMahon ever were to offer to buy TNA, would Dixie accept or think about the offer. Dixie shot it down and said, "TNA is here to stay, thanks but no thanks, we're not selling". Dixie added that she hoped if TNA continues to do what they're doing, that one day they will get up there with WWE.

Bubba asked Dixie if their was one guy who she was pleasantly surprised with. Dixie brought up Scott Steiner's name. Dixie said she knew their were a lot of rumors about Scott, but Dixie said she doesn't listen to rumors or gossip. When Scott came to TNA, she talked with him and explained that it was a fresh start, she'll give him lots of respect but she also expects a lot out of him.

When asked about the boys (in TNA), Dixie said that their wasn't a bad apple in the bunch. Dixie said that everyone is a joy to work with and everyone busts their ass. Dixie went on to say that she holds everyone to the same standard, she expects respect but she'll also give respect. Dixie added that they have a locker room full of talented guys who work hard and put their lives on the line every night, you have to respect that and they'll deliver.

Bubba plugged Impact and said that it was now two hours every week, Bubba also plugged the Bound for Glory PPV this Sunday. Dixie thanked everyone on the show and all the fans for their support and said that she would be back on the show in the future to talk about TNA and to promote future PPV's.
