It's well known that Vicious couldn't play. He was recruited for his looks (originally to sing but when he couldn't do that either they put him on bass). Johnny Rotten recorded all bass lines

Or rather, he could play bass. But was too high to function in society, much less play.

I read something where after a show he came up to Lemmy from Motorhead and was like "dude, you have to give me some bass lessons... I can't play"

Lemmy's response was "I know"

Well yeah he was god damn horrible. From what I remember from reading up on them they did try to teach him thousands upon thousands of times.
He was scouted for the band for his look. Kinda like Orton (except Orton does know how to wrestle).

You seen the "stalking the queen on a boat" show yet?

That was one of their more public stunts. The queen has a birthday and is riding down the river Thames on a boat. So Sex Pistols decides it would be lulz to follow her on another boat and play songs like Anarchy in the UK and god save the queen.

I would be scared to do a concert and then tell Lemmy this. He had to be completely stoned.

Remember, Lemmy sings the theme song to HHH. He must have connections of burying power. He probally buried Sid a few seconds later.
