Did Orton just reveal where Royal Rumble 2012 is held?

At a recent WWE signing Randy Orton may have let slip the location of the 2012 Royal Rumble. A fan asked him if the event would be held in St. Louis and Orton said "yes" however WWE personnel next to Orton quickly denied reports and Orton went along with it.


So if it is held in St. Louis, would this give Orton the chance to win Royal Rumble? Who do you see winning the rumble if it is held in St. Louis.

Anyways, I doubt this is real. Orton probably just got caught up in so much questions, that he just said yeah without thinking about the question. I've done it before. Anyways, I'd be pissed if he won the Rumble. Give it to someone else, damn.

I heard it was in St Louis ages ago. If Orton wins this rumble wherever it is I'm gonna be pissed.

Yeah he really doesn't need to win another rumble, and does not deserve to neither, it would be a bit of a waste.

Maybe, but WWE can't based their decission on who wins the rumble on something like that. I assume they decide quite far ahead of time and overall booking plan moving forward towards Wrestlemania.

We all know Orton has pull, if he's known it's in St Louis for a while he'll be sucking Vince's dick already to win there.

I don't see the location of the Royal Rumble changing any plans on who WWE will pick to win the match. As long as they hold it in a big arena I don't care where they hold it.

I hope it doesn't... But I doubt the winner has been decided yet...

That is one of the key differences between todays WWE and them in the 80's and 90's, back then they would have more than likely known right now who the royal rumble winner is going to be, but my guess is that they won't decide until about christmas time.

Have to agree with you there. The booking is so screwed nowadays, if I was in charge I'd plan storys out way in advance so I could tweak them as see fit and have back up plans incase ratings weren't being kind.

I would hope that they at least have a short list of four or five wrestlers that they think should win the Royal Rumble. I don't mind them not having a confirmed winner at this stage since so much can happen in the space of three months but they should at least have a vague idea of who will win it.
