Did anyone watch the Year 1 DVD?

I bought it last week and I finally got to watch it last night, I thought it was very good. I didnt watch the matches yet, just the documentary and it really gave me a much better idea of how TNA started, and how everyone thought it wouldnt last. Did any of you buy the DVD? If so, what did you think?

A lot of people watched it. I watched it to relive the magic that I experienced in 02 (I watched TNA in the first year), not to educate myself of how TNA started.

I wish they had shown more matches from TNA's first year. Specifically, the first cage match in TNA history (AMW vs. XXX, not the one where Skipper catwalked the cage, though), instead of just showing two brief clips from it in the tag team portions.

All in all, it was a good DVD. Anyone who is interested in TNA at all should watch it.

Sounds like I'll have to watch it. I wish I could lay claim to being there in the beginning but I wasn't. I officially jumped ship in December 2005 thanks to the guy in the sig.

^ Nice, I started watching TNA in 2004 so this DVD really showed how TNA was back when it started.

I thought it was a good dvd, BUT it did drag on in the 2nd hour of the documentary. I thought a 1 or 1 and a half hour story would have been perfect. They did have some good stories and moments to tell. I'd say a must for a TNA fan.
