Departing TNA Superstar Shoots All Over The Company

Departing TNA superstar Matt Bentley did not have very many good things to say about TNA during an appearance on the Between the Ropes radio show last night in Florida. Bentley, whose TNA deal expires on August 20th, said that the morale of the entire TNA roster is poor. Bentley claimed that there are a number of superstars growing frustrated at the fact that they work hard in the company only to get skipped over by former WWE superstars who get bigger pushes. He said that the names that are brought in are “supposed to be big starsâ€￾ but the ratings never rise.

Bentley said that TNA used to be a fun place to work but that has changed. Regarding the Congressional letter sent to TNA officials, Bentley said that neither he nor anyone he knew was drug tested by TNA. Bentley blamed the failure of the Serotonin gimmick on creative team member Dutch Mantel, saying that Mantel hated it and wanted nothing to do with it.

He also said that he was unhappy how TNA just informed him that he was done with the company rather than wishing him well in future endeavors.

Matt Bently was one of my favorites when I first started watching TNA on FSN....He really was a great talent who, like he said, deserved a push over Tomko/Morgan/Test,any day

He was actually really good, I remember watching him as Micheal Shane back when TNA was strictly on ppv.

Bentley used to be the heart of the X-Division IMO back in late 03 & 04...

I think the thing that really went bad against him was the fact that he had to change his name.

Hope he get's a shot with WWE... i mean they allready hav a readymade Storyline with HBK so why not.

Have him stalk HBK or something like that i dunno!

No offence to TNA guys here though... But why do you always claim they were "No Talanted" "Waste Of Spaces" after the've been released! It seems TNA fans always do that.

Ok, I just said I didnt care for him, I never siad he wasnt a waist of space. Belive me, if they let go of Angle, Styles, Cage or anyone I really thought had good overall talent, I wouldnt be saying that.....lol

If that's your Opinion then fair enuff...

I still reckon though that he had plenty of talent & had been misused ever since 2005. I'm not saying he'll be a Huge Loss! but he has plenty of chance as anybody else to become something big IMO!

They've gone from a company with a bunch of no namers with a lot of potential to hiring just about anything that leaves the WWE.

Hardly any of the older guys are getting any kind of a push at all, its everybody who makes the jump.

Obviously there are certain guys who deserved it Christian etc.

But when you look at a company where one fucking person is holding every single goddamned title you can surely see that there is a problem.

Or have him join the wwe have him beat a few people then have him attack hbk and say he alwasy looked up to hbk but he is better then he drops the bombshell IM HBK'S COUSIN. They should have a smackdown feud cause they get longer matches also. I think hes underated his amcthes int na in 2004-2006 where good. And hes has potential.
