Dennis Siver, is set to return to the octagon in a featherweight battle with Eddie Yagin at UFC 151.
The German kickboxer, 20-8, defeated Diego Nunes in his featherweight debut at UFC on Fuel TV in Sweden in April.
It was his first fight in the 145lbs division after his four fight win streak had been snapped by Donald Cerrone at lightweight – forcing him to drop down.
Yagin, 16-5-1, meanwhile, outpointed highly regarded striker Mark Hominick in a barnburner of a fight at UFC 145.
A considerable underdog in the fight, Yagin moved forward and swung wild bombs at Hominick, catching and rocking him on numerous occasions.
Yagin’s haymakers and Siver’s flashy kicks make for an interesting style clash at the event on September 1st.
The event will be held at the Manderlay Bay Events Center, in Las Vegas, and is expected to be headlined by the light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Dan Henderson.
Should be a nice battle. Wasn't entirely impressed with Siver in his last fight honestly, but Yagin impressed me with the war he had with Mark Hominick at UFC 145.
