Debate League/Team?

I saw this elsewhere a couple times and I thought it was pretty cool.

You are given a topic and have X amount of time to give an answer and the opposing party does the same and then it's judged by certified judges or voted on by users?

That's not a lot of detail, but that basically describes it in a nutshell.

Think this could be an interesting idea, especially with the current situation. Forgot that this was even presented, by me nonetheless, but anywho I think a debate "league" if it should even be called that is an interesting idea. Just an arena/place for people to give their opinions, while hearing the other side. Keeping it fair and clean would be desirable. Don't want people to be salty over a debate on the internet, and on a wrestling forum, no less.

Anybody think it would be worth giving a shot?
