Even though the first game was a pure EA title, and they blatantly stole and borrowed ideas from other games, I actually enjoyed the first Dead Space. A lot. The atmosphere, the gore, it was awesome. The story sucked balls, but oh well. Really looking forward to Dead Space 2, I hope they've cranked up the gore even more. I've read that they are turning Isaac into more of a soldier type of character now, instead of a clueless engineer. How that will work out, we'll just have to wait and see I guess.
