It's the third installment of Dead or Alive where I look at who still survives and who's gone from classic PPVs from the past. This time around it's Wrestlemania 2000, held April 2nd 2000 in Anaheim, California.

Things started off with Big Boss Man (R.I.P) & Bull Buchanan vs The Godfather and D'Lo Brown

Next up was a hardcore battle royale featuring Taz, Viscera (R.I.P), Funaki, Taka Michinoku, Rodney, Joey Abs, Mosh, Thrasher, Pete Gas, Faarooq, Bradshaw, Hardcore Holly and Crash Holly (R.I.P)

Third match of the night was Test (R.I.P) and Albert vs Al Snow and Steve Blackman

A triangle ladder match was next with the Dudleys, the Hardys and Edge & Christian

Terri Runnels
vs The Kat followed with Val Venis as special guest referee

Next up, Chyna (R.I.P) with Grand Master Sexay (R.I.P) and Scotty 2 Hotty vs Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko & Eddie Guerrero (R.I.P)

Chris Benoit (R.I.P)
vs Chris Jericho vs Kurt Angle followed

Next was Kane with Paul Bearer (R.I.P) and Rikishi vs X-Pac and Road Dogg

And in the main event for the night, HHH vs The Rock vs Mick Foley vs Big Show in a fatal 4 way.

Special mention to ring announcer Howard Finkel (R.I.P) who is also no longer with us.

So there you have it. Of the 46 people who wrestled that night 8 are no longer with us along with 1 manager and 1 ring announcer.

And for one final interesting fact, the average age of the 8 dead wrestlers who competed in ring that night was 39 years old (32, 33, 38, 40, 41, 43, 46, 46)

Until next time, stay safe out there!

Chris

Just caught up on all 3 threads, really interesting stuff here. Some of these I know will have sad sad numbers. Me and my dad always would do stuff like this when we watched old shows.
