DDW Redemption Results!

The show opens up with the DDW pyro with Renee Young and Kevin Kelly welcoming the DDW fans to the PPV. They talk about the different matches tonight and start off the first match.

"Impress Us Battle Royal (Winner receives a TV Championship opportunity) Ted Dibiase vs Dean Malenko vs Big E Langston vs Jesse Sorensen vs Alex Riley vs Rene Dupree vs Justin Gabriel vs Cedric Alexander vs Curtis Axel vs Alex Wright

The match kicked off with an early elimination after Big E belly to belly suplexed Alex Riley over the top rope within seconds of the match starting. Big E starting to run the show with numerous big moves on different competitors. Then came the second elimination of the match and also Big E’s second, he manhandled Justin Gabriel and threw him over. Big E was then almost eliminated after Curtis Axel caught him off guard but Big E managed to stay in the ring. Jesse Sorensen was then eliminated after Alex Wright clotheslined him over the top. Rene Dupree and Alex Wright were then fighting against the ropes trying to eliminate each other before Axel came over, tossed them both over and scored a double elimination. Dean Malenko locked Ted Dibiase in the Texas Cloverleaf while Big E and Curtis Axel fought it out, trying to eliminate each other. Finally, Malenko released the hold and tried to eliminate Dibiase. Dibiase managed to land on the ropes but Malenko gave him a kick to the temple and he fell to the outside. Curtis Axel then quickly eliminated Malenko. As Axel was bragging after the elimination, Big E came up behind him and tossed him over for the victory!

Winner: Big E Langston

The camera cut to backstage where reDRagon were participating in a backstage interview. They were talking about how they are going to become the first DDW Tag Team Champions tonight. This was before the British Invasion interrupted and talked about how the Brits are always better meaning they are going to win.

DDW Television Championship EC3 (c) vs Health Slater

This match was a back and forth match which has numerous fantastic moments in it, it was a great advert for the Television Championship. The match kicked off with a lock up before EC3 gave Slater a knee to the gut. EC3 took the control for some time after that. He hit various snap suplex’s to wear Slater down, he brutally attacked Slater just manhandling him. He threw him around like a ragdoll, throwing him in the corner and pounding away at him until the ref had to pull him away. Slater fought back with some fists of fury finishing off in a dropkick. He managed to get the upperhand and managed to hit a spinning spinebuster which resulted in a two count. Slater saw this was his chance and climed to the top rope. He flew off and hit a flying crossbody but EC3 managed to roll through, grab the tights and sneak a 3 count!

Winner: EC3

The Miz vs Bray Wyatt

You could tell from the get go that the Miz was scared from the get go. He started the match by sliding out of the ring and waiting until the nine count to get back into the ring before sliding back out again. Bray had enough and slid out hitting Miz with a huge lariat on the outside and then smashing his head on the barricade before military pressing him onto the barricade. He then threw Miz into the ring and took control of the match, stomping on the Miz and punching away at him. He hit a huge running crossbody which knocked the Miz across the ring. He went to finish the match off with the Sister Abigail, the Miz managed to reverse it, spin around and hit a neckbreaker. He then rolled out the ring and grabbed a chair from the timekeepers area. He waited for Bray to get up, went to hit him with a chair but Bray matched to duck it, kick Miz in the gut and hit the Sister Abigail! He then got the 3 count before standing over the Miz.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

A promo for Randy Orton vs Edge was aired.

Triangle TLC Match for the DDW Tag Team Championships reDRagon vs The Vaudevillians vs the British Invasion

This match was always going to be a fantastic match and it far exceeded exceptations. Whether it be Doug Williams crashing through two tables after being pushed off a ladder or Bobby Fish literally throwing a chair at Simon Gotch, this match wasn’t short of action. reDRagon showed their tag team prowess by controlling a large portion of this match with different innovative moves involving the tables, ladders and chairs. They hit a double team suplex through a table on Rob Terry and also smashed two ladders against the back and front of Aiden English. The British Invasion also hit various different moves like Rob Terry spinebustering Kyle O’Reily through a table and also Doug Williams hitting a German suplex off a ladder on Simon Gotch. The match ended absolutely incredibly with Doug Williams and Simon Gotch brawling on top of the ladder. They both tried to grab the titles, Doug Williams smashed both the titles into Simon Gotch with him falling off the ladder! Doug Williams then unhooked the titles to crown the British Invasion as the first ever DDW Tag Team Champions!

Winner: The British Invasion

The camera then cut to Chris Jericho’s locker room. He was seen putting on his wrist tape before his steel cage match with Prince Devitt. The lights then went out and gun shots were heard. When the light came back on, he was surrounded by the members of the Bullet Club (apart from Prince Devitt). Chris Jericho said “just one second lads†before the lights went out again. When they came back on, the Bullet Club were surrounded by members of the DDW locker room who then preceeded to attack the Bullet Club and brawl with them as Jericho escaped!

Steel Cage Match Chris Jericho vs Prince Devitt

Prince Devitt was shocked to see Jericho which led to Jericho getting the upper hand early on. He quickly took down Devitt and starting pounding away at him, getting revenge for all the previous attacks that Devitt orcastrated. Jericho quickly threw Devitt into the steel cell a number of times which led to Prince Devitt already being busted open. Devitt got his way back into the match and took control after he poked Jericho in the eye and gave him a low blow. He then hit a dropkick which took Jericho to the canvas. He then took control by hitting various other moves. Jericho was then busted open after Devitt grinded his face against the steel. Jericho changed the match around again after pushing Devitt off the top rope and hitting a flying crossbody. The camera quickly showed backstage where members of the DDW locker room were still brawling with the Bullet Club. Apart from Luke Gallows who was nowhere to be seen. The camera then cut back to the ring where Devitt and Jericho were exchanging blows. All of a sudden, Luke Gallows was seen coming down the ramp. He managed to rip the chain link of of the door and enter the steel cage with Jericho and Devitt! It was now a 2 on 1 handicap match! Gallows ran at Jericho with a lariat but Jericho ducked under and hit a codebreaker! Devitt then jumped for a dropkick but Jericho caught his legs, brought him to the canvas and locked him in the Walls of Jericho! Devitt then tapped out!

Winner: Chris Jericho

DDW World Heavyweight Championship Randy Orton (c) vs Edge

It was always going to be hard to live up to the last match but this match certainly gave it a good go. Orton got the early control of this back and forth match after smashed Edge with some forearms and even hitting his signature hangman’s DDT so early on. Orton obviously wanted to end this match as soon as possible. Edge fought back with a reverse DDT and also a flying elbow drop! The match carried on going back and forth before Edge managed to gain the upper hand. Edge managed to hit the Edgecation but that only resulted in a 2 count. He lined up for the spear but Orton reversed it into a running powerslam! Orton then went into that psychotic stage that he goes into! Orton went for the RKO but Edge managed to throw him away which led to Orton rolling out the ring. Edge followed him and the two starting brawling on the outside. The two kept on fighting and the ref’s count was almost at ten. Edge tried to drag Orton back into the ring but Orton resisted and kept brawling. The ref counted both men out! Edge was furious and starting pounding away at Orton on the outside. He threw Orton into the barricade and then speared him through it!!

Winner: No Contest

Loved the booking of the cage match, great job.

But fuck that finish in the main event. Non-finishes in PPV main events are always shitty.

This was before the British Invasion interrupted and talked about how the Brits are always better meaning they are going to win.

I really like how well this was written. Each match is very nicely described in great detail.

That tag title ladder match sounds like it was a show stealer along with Jericho and Devitt. I really liked that spot with Gallows eating a Codebreaker, and then Devitt getting caught in a Walls of Jericho.

Main event was solid and I'd like to see where you go from here with this feud considering how this one ended.
