Davey Richards - The Hunt is on

With his most recent announcement, and a title shot at Final Battle, the question is will Davey Richards capture his Destiny at Final Battle??? Can he defeat newly crowned ROH Champ Roderick Strong and the House of Truth?

I think Richards will eventually get his title, however i don't know if Final Battle 2010 is the right time. Roddy needs a good reign. Your thoughts?

^I agree, winning the title is good. However, he won it because Tyler Black is leaving, and that makes him seem a bit weak (Roderick). I think he needs a lengthy reign to prove that Black leaving wasn't the only reason he is now champ. So sorry Davey, I'd like you to win, but I can't see it happening. In the future though, almost definitely. He is a great wrestler. (Richards)

No surprise here, Davey teasing retirement for money and title shots, just like everything else this clown does. I really REALLY want to see Roddy have a good reign...but not under this gimmick at all. I don't like Truth at all I have to say. I'd rather Rod just say he used him for a title, then beat the hell out of HoT, turning them face. (I like Josh Abercrombie out of the team though.) I don't know...Davey's already lost in a title shot once. I don't think he'll lose again. I figure Roddy will beat Daniels and Homicide, then lose to Davey at Final Battle. I can't imagine they'd want a wish-washy finish like last year's ME so yeah, Davey wins, beats Roddy in the rematch, then I bet they already have a storyline in the works to where Davey and Eddie want to become double champs, and they'll feud with whoever the tag champs are at the time, before breaking up and feuding with each other. My prediction i'd say.

I tend to agree with that prediction. It makes sense with the way things are looking now. I do think Strong will turn on the HOT in the near future. Perhaps when he still has the belt. I'm really hoping for a good title reign by Roddy. I can't see him dropping the belt after a few defenses. Davey has had two title shots (aries vs. Richards, and DBD vs. Black) I'm thinking it may turn into a fourway at Final Battle, and Strong could come out on top, but then lose the belt to Richards at the 9th anniversary show, or Supercard of Honor 6.
