Sal Hamouai and Dave Prazak will be debuting a new women's promotion on 7/20 in Ybor Beach, Florida. The promotion will be a sister promotion to Prazak's SHIMMER.

The idea here is to run monthly in between SHIMMER DVD tapings since SHIMMER only tapes DVDs a few weekends a year and there is a plethora of talent looking to work for the promotion. So, these monthly shows will bridge the time between the SHIMMER tapings, giving the women more work and also providing a place for newer talents to try and make their name.

Former WCW and TNA star Daffney and Lexie Fyfe are also heavily involved in the promotion.

The company is currently assembling their talent roster and have signed an exclusive deal with the venue they will be running.

Here's the logo:

I'm intrigued by this.

Reby Sky, Sara del Ray and Santana Garrett have been announced as the first members of the roster for the SHINE Women's Wrestling iPPV promotion, which will debut on 7/30 in Ybor City, Florida.

The promotion is backed by Sal Hamaoui and Dave Prazak and will be running Florida regularly via iPPV as a sister promotion to Prazak's SHIMMER promotion.

The monthly shows will bridge the time between the SHIMMER tapings, giving the women more work and also providing a place for newer talents to try and make their name.

Former WCW and TNA star Daffney and Lexie Fyfe are also heavily involved in the promotion. Daffney will have an on-air role and is working behind the scenes while Fyfe will work as an agent for the company, the same role she has in SHIMMER.

The company is currently assembling their talent roster and have signed an exclusive deal with the venue they will be running. An official announcement, including the name of the group, is forthcoming.

Figured Del Rey would appear. Reby Sky is interesting, but it's an opportunity to see if she has decent wrestling skills. Never heard of Santana Garrett either.

I watched a Reby match a couple days ago. I don't know how long she's been in the business, can't be more than a year, so with that little experience, she's not bad. I mean, the match was, but much better than it should have been if she hadn't been wrestling long.

Add Jazz, Leva Bates, Christina Von Eerie, Su Yung, Rain & Veda Scott also.

Jazz is a good addition. Von Eerie is too. Rain and Leva live in Florida, so it makes sense to use them both. Veda Scott seems to be coming along. And Su Yung is apparently a former WWE Developmental Wrestler.

That logo certainly does scream women's wrestling.
