Unfortunately, Darius Martin is injured again.

Fightful Select has learned that Top Flight member Darius Martin sustained a leg injury fairly recently and is sidelined from action. We've reached out to Darius and AEW for more, but can confirm that he will be replaced on this weekend's Warrior Wrestling show.
Those that we've spoken to expect Martin to miss a lengthy period in the ring again. The situation is a heartbreaker, as Darius only recently returned from a torn ACL that left him out of action for over a year. Martin was able to work 11 matches during his latest run. He and his brother Dante went 6-1 since reuniting as a team.
We wish Darius Martin a speedy recovery. Due to the nature of this story, we have not paywalled it.

My initial point is while he can works as a single, the Martins as a whole would be better off together. Hence my comparison to the Usos

I think its only better off for Darius, and I mean no insult by that. I'd argue Dante was more over than they are as a unit, too, even if I think they are a great tag team that were on their way to easily surpassing teams like Private Party as a flashy high flying young guns.

I say this with utmost respect even if its bad timing due to this injury and thread, but imo, Dante does not need Darius, at all.

Personally I haven’t seen much of Darius because of injuries so I won’t say who needs who more.

But having watch Dante work alone through Darius’ last injury, there’s still things that young man needs to learn.

He can do all the moves and it looks great but there are intangibles he lacks. And he’s young as fuck so that’ll come but imo as of right now him being in a tag team was the best thing for him

No doubt he needs work still but he also improved immensely by having singles against veterans. Something he won't get to do as a tag guy. Unfortunately though I think that option is fading with Darius. I think its time to pull the trigger on a Dante push in the midcard at least. A match with Sammy seems like a great start, with sammy as heel too they'll tear the roof off

I agree with both of these statements. But what’s the better act…Jey solo or the Usos as a tag team? Going off of history.

You guys are acting like I’m saying Dante Martin can’t or won’t be a big deal sometime as a solo. All I’m saying is right now, he’d be better served if his brother was healthy.
