We noted that Daniel Bryan may have upset WWE brass with some comments he made at his Wizard World Chicago appearance yesterday. We now have a recap of his Q&A session, thanks to Wrestling Inc reader James Martin.

* Bryan says that he would most like to wrestle Brock Lesnar, if the WWE ever clears him, that is.

* His parents were his biggest inspirations growing up, and he remembers the sacrifices they made for him.

* He had pitched the idea of calling his running knee The Crusher, as a tribute to the late Connor "The Crusher" Michalek. Knee Plus was another option he'd considered, but as of now, the move has no name.

* Bryan talked about the toll that his father's death took on him emotionally. He said that even football season was hard for him because they would talk about the Seattle Seahawks a lot.

* He is most proud of his match with KENTA (Hideo Itami in NXT) on the independent circuit.

* He said that it upsets him and makes him sad that someone like CM Punk who once had so much passion for professional wrestling no longer does. He said that he thinks a Punk vs. Bryan WrestleMania match could have been similar to Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart.

* He would love to have a match with Kurt Angle. He said that with Angle not being in WWE and WWE not clearing him to compete, he actually may get to wrestle Angle.

* He says that Tough Enough's ZZ has the potential to be good if he puts his mind to it. He also put over ZZ's personality.

* He had high praise for Samoa Joe and said it was about time that WWE signed him.

* Bryan has no clue if he will wrestle for WWE again.

* He says the issue he's out with is a concussion that stems from a match in April, but was cleared by a doctor who worked for the Super Bowl.

* Bryan says he could work this weekend's SummerSlam if they wanted him to, but WWE won't clear him.

I hope he's back soon. I know he's dying to get back in the ring and I hope he can get back to doing what he loves.

WWE... Such assholes. If this was triple, h, cena, Shawn michaels, etc... WWE would prob clear them early.

DB gets the short of the stick because WWE thinks he's "not healthy enough" or "injury prone"...... Triple has had 2 major time consuming injuries and you can bet your ass that were in a hurry to put him back in main events.

It's possible they're waiting for a spot for him to open up rather then clearing him then having nothing for him.

Well in spite of their past treatment towards Bryan, I doubt that's the case. But, we will see. I hope that's what they're thinking.

So you would rather him have been cleared too early and potentially get injured again?

Seabs' thoughts on this I tend to think is more likely than them doing it just to be dicks.

Majour,

We both know that you and I don't always see eye to eye on DB, which is fine. But, He's been cleared by doctors, just now by WWE, right? Thus, WWE isn't really concerned with DB's health; since when does Vince and them give a real shit about that? lol, they're concerned more with what they see as priority and, well, DB usually isn't one, it almost seems as if WWE's hands are tied because this guy just got so over, so fast, and they just give him some big wins now and then. If he's truly still injured and that's their concern, my hats off to them. I just highly doubt that's the case.

Don't really get why my feelings in DB are really an issue here. You commented how the company would try and bring all top stars back early except him and it seemed like that was an issue to you. Bearing in mind how much time he's been injured since WM30 can you actually blame them for actually wanting to make sure that he's okay to go?
You can cry foul all you want, but that's how I see it.

because we're discussing DB? So, your feelings can cloud judgement? calm down lol.

yes, I commented on this and am basically saying that if this was Cena who was injured....WWE would do EVERYTHING in their power to get him back in the ring....like he prob need to be cleared by one doctor and that would be it...hell, he may even be cleared earlier than what's recommended. Tons of stars have been injured throughout the years...and WWE wants them back ASAP; right when they're cleared, WWE clears them and it's a good to go.

Again, I'm leaning more towards WWE being dicks and not caring too much as opposed to them truly being concerned about DB's health. I could be wrong though.

DB's obviously itching to get back in that ring. He loves it and we know it.

But, it's for the best if he waits for a little longer. Coming back 110% healthy is a priority.

I'd honestly love it if he returned at the Rumble next year and actually won it, for the first time, at last.

You're actually hilarious-my feelings might cloud my judgement. I appreciate that he is a great talent and him being injured so badly is a real shame but they shouldn't rush him back. That pretty much sums it up for me.
If anybody is letting their feelings about DB cloud their judgement, it might be you.

So yeah, difference of opinion and whatever.
