Danhausen and Mance Warner both suffered ankle injuries Sunday night at a Next Generation Wrestling show in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Danhausen tweeted a video of himself at the hospital with his left ankle wrapped up. While in character, he said that something "was broken" and asked fellow indie wrestler Warhorse, who was with him, to fix it.
He and Warhorse were in a tag team match against Jason Kincaid and Facade. While details are still light, several fans said he sustained the injury when someone doing a coast-to-coast move landed on his leg.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp tweeted that Warner's injury appeared to be more serious as he was also seen clutching his knee. Warner was taking on Dirty Dango (fka Fandango in WWE) when he was thrown to the outside of the ring early in the match which is where he sustained the injury.
Danhausen is a regular on the indies but also has been with Ring of Honor as of late. He, and the rest of the roster, recently learned the company will go on hiatus for the first quarter of 2022 as they move toward a model based on non-contracted talent.
Warner was granted his release last week from MLW after requesting it nearly a year ago. He and Matthew Justice dropped the GCW Tag Team titles to the Briscoes at this month's War Ready.
