Dinero's push has begun. Last night, Dinero cut a pretty great promo, was hand picked by Hogan to wrestle to show him (Hogan) what he was, and pinned Desmond Wolfe clean in a pretty good match. As what was shown last night, the guy is over HUGE. He can go in the ring, good on the mic, let the push begin. They can't just drop this. A Wolfe/Dinero feud could be epic.

The main downfall I see with this was Orlando Jordan. He interrupts The Pope's promo greeted with groans and boo's from the crowd. I really didn't have that much a problem with Jordan in WWE, but if this wasn't a 1 time deal and he indeed has signed with TNA, I'd rather not see a Jordan/Pope feud over Wolfe/Pope.

What are your thoughts on Dinero?

I really like Dinero, the gimmick is a bit much... but hey the crowd fuckin eats it up, he's over as fuck. I'm happy to see him getting a chance, I always thought WWE was ridiculous for not capitalizing on him. This could go a few ways...

-The match with Desmond was a one off thing just to get Pope some nice momentum.
-They're actually going to feud him with Desmond.
-Pope/OJ team.
-Pop/OJ feud.

All of the options seem decent to me. I'm just waiting for people to over react and start with the "OmGzzz what happened to Desmond's push!?" It was one loss, via roll up. It did nothing to make Desmond look weak. These are two over as fuck guys. I don't think Desmond is quite ready to face AJ yet so let these two simmer and build a little first.

I see the first or last option but if they wanted a feud, they would have had OJ come down and see the match.

I have loved Elijah burkes work in ecw in the wwe and thought he was great. Now in TNA with this gimmick and ring time he can be one of the best natural guys in wrestling. I'm thinking Booker t level?

see i always thought jordan would go to tna, i thought he was too good of a "decent" wrestler not to be on tv somewhere, just my opinion. everybody is saying who cares about jordan well maybe he will make something of himself in tna, who knows. all i know is austin wasn't anything in WCW, just like the undertaker, and HHH and many many others. I am in NO WAY comparing jordan to them but just saying a new place for some people could be career changing, for the better or worse.

as for pope, he has the fortunate position of being able to go for all 4 male titles becuase of his size and abilities. if dixie said guys like wolfe, morgan, definately AJ have to become household names and i know TNA is going to push the hell out of AJ, pope definately has a chance. Pope I believe will be TNA's legitimate Black contender in a year, its only smart business wise to have at least a legit contender from other nationalities and race's other than white, but at the same time you just cant make that someone, they have to make themselves.

I always liked Burke the man has talent and a lot of it, and right now as The Pope he is way over and if TNA capatilizes on it I see Deniero getting a shot at the TNA World Championship in 2010, he may not win the belt, but he will get a shot at it.

Co-sign like a bitch...

I had always seen the true potential of Burke/Dinero once he was leading the New Breed back when he was at TNA. And everyone of us would bitch as to why he wasn't being used right at all either, it frustrated the hell out of me also.

Just imagine what would've happened if Burke/Dinero had that Pope gimmick in WWE if they didnt release him after they repackaged him? He would be easily be ME material (no doubt).
