It's been a trying few years for Dan Hardy. A welterweight title shot defeat was followed with three more losses, leaving the Brit uncertain about his future. The UFC kept him employed and he rebounded with a pair of wins last year.

In preparing for a 2013 bout with Matt Brown, doctors diagnosed Hardy with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. Due to the condition, Hardy was immediately pulled from the fight. Now, he gets a second look by a specialist to see what's next.

"I'm going to go back and get some more tests done," said Hardy on the Joe Rogan Experience. "[UFC CEO] Lorenzo [Fertitta] has a special cardiologist that he wants me to go and see, so I'm going to get that done and just kind of see what my options are. I don't see the point in having the surgery done if I have to have it done to carry on fighting. It just seems pointless to me."

What the doctor advices could dictate the future as it will be difficult to earn medical clearance with a heart condition. Clearly, "The Outlaw" has no desire to call it quits.

I seriously hope it's not as bad tha the needs surgery. Dan Hardy did express his interest to call it quits after 2013 but this puts a whole new spin on things. I hope he doesn't call it quits, he always puts on wars.
