Cung Le wants to coach The Ultimate Fighter opposite Wanderlei Silva

Next month, Cung Le turns 41 and knows his number of fights is limited. He would accept a rematch with Wanderlei Silva and if a coaching spot on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) went along, it only sweetens the pot for Le.

"If it doesn't happen, I was just honored to be in the Octagon with Wanderlei," said Le during a recent UFC Q & A. "I grew up watching Wanderlei. He was just ferocious going in there to destroy people and I did pretty good against him. If that fight does come up and it includes a coaching spot, I'm all over it."

The first encounter saw Silva take a late second round TKO. That was the co-main event of UFC 139 and took Fight of the Night.

Since then, Le beat Patrick Cote and Rich Franklin, who he knocked out with one punch to the face.

Neither Le nor Silva have UFC fights announced. The next season of America's TUF will feature Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano as the head coaches.

That was an awesome fight, but as much profile as a potential rematch goes.. I don't think it should be measured out of a whole season of The Ultimate Fighter.
