Share your culture!

At one point I thought of studying anthropology. But growing up in Ontario which has the densest population in all of Canada I get to learn a lot from people in general, and I love learning about where people come from because a lot of it influences their behaviours.

Believe it or not, even if you come from somewhere where you consider there to be a lack of culture (take Canada for instance) there is quite a bit so I'd like to learn a little bit about people's culture. I'll start by sharing with people a thing or two about southern Ontario.

In Ontario, there's a lot of things we do best regarded worldwide (or so I've been told from people all over the world) - farming, industry, and partying. In other words, where I come from we know two things - work hard and play hard. A lot of people associate Canada with marijuana as well which is perfectly acceptable by me because I understand.

Ontario
Irrigation -
To turn people's heads believe it or not, it's actually where I come from where the weed is the strongest not BC. Ontario's lake surrounded terrain presents rich soils and countless farmlands for places to grow, it's not just our weed but also our fruit. I've had people live outside the province and when they come back one thing they tell me they miss is the quality of fruits and vegetables.

Economy - Because of the huge terrain Ontario has, we also present a lot of opportunities for industry as well. A lot of top level manufacturers produce here because of the fact that farming does always produce the highest work ethic. And from worldwide regards like I've said, people have told me that Ontario has some of the best workers in all of the world. We host to well over a thousand manufacturing places and interestingly enough, the Toyota plant is really big in my hometown (Woodstock).

Entertainment and Nightlife - Overall I have to say Toronto is the entertainment capital of Canada. It's the home of Shaw media which presents countless media coverages including Much Music, as well as a number of nightclubs around here. Guvernment specifically has to be one of my favorite. And not to mention the new york style vibe includes a great deal of european fashion sense around here along with the exposition of pacifist technology. Simple to say - if anybody from any nationality presents an idea we're pretty quick to jump aboard. We actually use logic from a number of different cultures including the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan (at least here, Montreal, more french influence than UK)

Outdoor recreation - Another thing that proceeds to wow me is the scenery in the nice places around here that's not covered by smog. For those who don't know, it doesn't snow here all year round the summer is actually really nice and presents a lot of opportunities for outdoor recreation. Some activities I enjoy are sailing, off roading, rock climbing and Ontario's unique terrain definitely gives the opportunity to try all these. The only thing I wish we had were mountains, but we have cliffs that are pretty close.

So why don't you tell us about what you think shines the most about where you're from. And Fuji Vice, I'm sorry if I didn't cover certain things. You live in Toronto so you know about the multi culturalism around there than I do. It's real redneck the more south you go which is really where I am. And yes Americans, there are hilbillies in Canada. If I could make a show about where I come from you'd all be suprised.

Alright punks, your turn!

The Yonge and Dundas square is about the only part of Toronto that has a 'New York vibe', really. The rest of the city looks just like most other cities, with the pubs, clubs, etc. Nothing else really stands out, except the CN Tower.

Anyway, I enjoy the city of Toronto, it's certainly full of interesting life (nothing like walking around and watching a guy talk to himself, then cry, then yell out I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT HER, before proceeding to continue his walk up the street like his outburst didn't happen).

Mississauga, on the other hand, fucking sucks.

I was speaking more so of the fashion demographic there but considering that's where the Eaton centre is I guess I can't really argue. In all honesty, I rarely go to Toronto and when I do it's usually the Old Toronto area which is what I see mostly. Guvernment's also a hot spot for partying and I enjoy it there.

I wanna get out and travel more now that I've clubbed in Toronto for so long. LA's my next hot spot and hopefully for College.
