- During an appearance on the Showgram radio show in Sacramento earlier this week, Kurt Angle made some bold statements again...

* He said that TNA will be in a ratings war with WWE in 2-3 years.
* He said that he will fight Brock Lesnar if the money is right.
* He said he and Randy Couture have signed on with a promotion to have their submission fight but wouldn't reveal which promotion.
* He said Sting told him he is the best wrestler he's ever faced.
* He put over Ric Flair's career.
* He again said that Dana White was set to sign him to UFC but only if Angle agreed to not wrestle for TNA, which Angle declined.
* He said he is currently training two days a week for his fight with Couture and will increase that as the fight gets closer.
* He said he will be at the Sacramento Kings basketball game tonight against the LA Clippers.
* Said he wants TNA to make their California debut in Sacramento within the next few months.

Didn't Kurt say TNA would be in a "ratings war" with WWE last year and it would happen by the start of this year?? Hmmm I guess he forgot about that little prediction.

First of all I thought Couture completely shot down that he would fight Angle. On top of that he better be training a lot harder than 2 days a week if he wants to compete with a guy like Couture. Him vs. Lesnar would be pretty interesting, I actually would like to see that. If TNA doesn't get the ratings up they won't be around in 2-3 years to have a ratings war with WWE. They're barely competing with ECW at the moment so they've got a longgggg way to go. And that Sting thing is really stupid, why even say that? Just makes him look like the cocky prick that he usually comes off as. Now if he said that Sting was the greatest performer he's ever been in the ring with that wouldn't be bad, but the other way around just makes him look arogent imo.

I would love to see them ina ratings war, for some good competition, but at the moment I just can't see it happening any time soon.
