Oh boy. I am not sure how I feel about this one captain...
Yeah... This likely won't get good ratings based on the cast alone. I likely won't watch it just because I don't want the series to be tarnished for me.Trash
That and Netflix has yet to do a good live-action movie...*stares at Death Note one*Yeah... This likely won't get good ratings based on the cast alone. I likely won't watch it just because I don't want the series to be tarnished for me.
Netflix seems to just be willing to do anything these days. They want to keep people interested even if it means pissing off entire fanbases. That and Netflix has yet to do a good live-action movie...*stares at Death Note one*
Pretty much and it is sad honestlyNetflix seems to just be willing to do anything these days. They want to keep people interested even if it means pissing off entire fanbases.
Straight & to the point.Trash
Apparently that Netflix Death Note film is an abomination. That and Netflix has yet to do a good live-action movie...*stares at Death Note one*

Oh boy. I am not sure how I feel about this one captain...
You know me, I am straight to the pointStraight & to the point.

Apparently that Netflix Death Note film is an abomination.
I've never seen it...but a friend of mine told me it was awful...
well...apart from Willem Dafoe as Ryuk...but let's be honest...
Willem Dafoe actually looks like Ryuk.
Aren't anime adaptions ALWAYS terrible?
Jiminy Cricket those Attack On Titan films near made me
vomit with how bad they were.
I agree with that. I actually own a special collectors edition box setthe Japanese Live-Action versions actually aren't that bad and I thoroughly enjoy them.
Can you list a few exceptions for me? Besides the JapaneseYes and no. The majority of the time they are pretty bad, but there are a few exceptions though not many.
CoolI agree with that. I actually own a special collectors edition box set
as well as the standard Australian versions of those films. I also have
a framed "replica" Death Note hanging on my wall...as well as a second
"loose" replica laying around here somewhere...
*Looks Around for a Moment*
I'll have to take a photo with it when I locate it.
I'm actually a big fan of the "concept" & I also own the original
anime...however I have never read the manga.
I don't consume much manga/anime...but what I do tends to stick
with me...so to speak.
Can you list a few exceptions for me? Besides the Japanese
Death Note films of course.
?
Right...let me have a look here...Cool
Inuyashiki, Orange, Gantz, Casshern, Bleach, The Guyver, Blade of the Immortal, Gintama, Oldboy, Lady Snowblood, and Rurouni Kenshin Parts I and II just to name some.
If you want to know the one I would highly recommend it I would say try to find Rurouni Kenshin Parts I and II as I think they are the best.Right...let me have a look here...
The Guyver & its sequel...I've seen those...because well...men in sentai/monster suits fighting...
of course I've fucking seen them...
&
Oldboy? *Checks* Oh...I didn't even know that was a manga adaptation. I have the 2003 Korean
version on DVD...and I thought the American remake of said film was...okay? Maybe?
I have no idea about anything else you listed...although I think a friend of mine reads Bleach...
I think?
