Courtney Love Apologizes to Daughter Frances Bean
Courtney Love is reaching out to her daughter Frances Bean Cobain – on Twitter.
Love previously angered her daughter by claiming on the social media site that Kurt Cobain's former bandmate Dave Grohl "hit on" Frances Bean, but now Love says she regrets spreading the rumor, which was denied by both Grohl and Frances.
"Bean, sorry I believed the gossip," Love tweeted early Saturday. "Mommy loves you."
Frances angrily answered her mom's earlier accusations on Thursday saying, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy."
Grohl also said the claims were "offensive and absolutely untrue."
Frances is engaged to Isaiah Silva, frontman of the rock band the Rambles.
