Retired too hastily. The story goes that he walked away because there was no money in MMA in 1999. He needed to care for his family. Ok fine.

He took too long in coming back and he's not capitalizing. He's 35 and still has name power. I don't know what the deal is with him and Dana White but there's much gold to be mined with Frank in UFC. EXC did a little but there's still fight in him.

Does anyone else think Frank could've been held in the same breath as Couture?

Couture is in a league of his own, but Frank is close behind, but will never be in Randy's league. If he stuck with MMA he still wouldn't have. Frank should put the gloves back on for a few more fights, I think everyone would love that.

He's only 35? damn! I didn't know that.

I hope Shamrock steps back in the ring. He's matches were exiting as hell, Plus the guy can promote the hell out of a match.

^^Yeah, he's really good at riling up opponents and the crowd. A real showman. He is lacking some focus though. I don't know how true this is but he's talking about a fight with Ken. The elder Shamrock has lost 6-7 fights in a row. That has no interest.

lol, he is 44 years old. >_> anyway, he better be a coach training people in a training camp, and thats it for him. He will kill his legacy when he comes back and get beaten the shit out of him by any younger talent.

I'll give some credit to Shamrock for being the first mainstream MMA face but being in wrestling killed his aura and cost him major training time. The fight with Rich Franklin on the first UF finale says it all.
