Jonathan Coachman was interviewed in a column by Alex Marvez recently, Coachman noted that even though he enjoyed working for WWE, he didn't see the job as something he wanted to do forever.

"It really started to wear on me the last couple of years," Coachman said. "I enjoyed the (WWE) job, but not the travel. Toward the end between doing games and WWE shows, I was on the road five days a week for 51 weeks a year. I also got married, which put strain as well."

Coachman noted that there is absolutely no chance of him returning to World Wrestling Entertainmnet, but keeps in contact with the company and visits when shows are in the area.

Too bad, I always felt Coach played the role well.

I thought by the thread title he was returning. I liked Coach. Ah well. More Todd Grisham.

Jonathan Coachman was one of the greatest on-screen characters of 2004-05, It's really sad to hear that he is done with the wrestling business forever.

I hated Coach as a commentator. He was boring as all shit. I will admit that I liked him in the GM's assistant role, though that's it. I really don't care that he's not coming back.

Remember when The Rock made him dance "The Charleston" during an interview segment? Lol, classic Coachman. I miss him too.

^^^ Yeah Gates, Coach's on-screen promos with The Rock were the shit IMO.

But ESPN knows how to be pretty convincing with salary payroll for their mainstream employees so I really don't blame Coach for joining ESPN anyways.
