Okay since leaving in 2014, it has been a running gag and overdone thing to say/ask/hope/speculate that Phillip Brookes, CM Punk, would return to Wrestling. After a failed stint in the UFC, people wondered if he woud return anywhere, from people wondering if he was "All In" or if he is going to AEW... And SOOO MANY OTHER CRAZY STORIES! The man was burnt out and he seems done, whether you want him back or not. And I have been tired of all the stories about him making a return for years! Athough... Something this weekend happened. CM Punk may have been him making a wrestling appearance for a Promotion ran by ROH's Sillas Young in Wisconson. Wisconson, one of the two places he has split his time with since leaving the squared circle.

During a match someone in a hood and mask went out and hit a wrestler with a GTS, the move Punk popularized (F to pay respects to KENTA) and ran out.



This would seem fake as the GTS looked sloppy, although that could be because he was doing it in jeans. But the hoodie is interesting because a fan made an instagram post that weekend with CM Punk in Milwakee, Wisconson wearing the same hoodie.



This is just wtf. It can easily be fake and not punk, just someone with the same shirt, or CM Punk has kinda made a return to wrestling (in that he was part of a wrestling show) even if it is a one off. Until confirmed by the man himself this is one big conspiracy theory!

According to the promoter it was indeed CM Punk, no idea why they would tell us that but that show is the last wrestling show hosted at that venue and Punk used to wrestle a lot there plus one of the competitors being Punks old teammate Ace Steel. I think it might actually be him.
