Always exciting Clay Guida will look to earn himself a crack at UFC lightweight title when he faces Ben Henderson this weekend at UFC on Fox.

Guida has been hot lately, riding a four fight winning streak heading into the bout against former WEC 155lb Champ Henderson who himself will also be looking to impress the UFC brass.

Guida talked about his opponent this week and spoke about his desire to earn a fight against Frankie Edgar:

"Ben is obviously a gamer, he always comes to fight and fight hard. From what I know, he is a real good dude and respectful, so add that to an intense work ethic and that's a great recipe for success. ... To me, a big win earns a title shot. I want to win big so that there is no question about my title shot. Everyone hyped Melvin Guillard as the obvious next shot, but then he lost in the first-round to Joe (Lauzon). So, I figure with a big win, then it's my turn for that title shot.

I agree that whoever wins this fight should get a title shot. Guida has been in incredible form and Henderson hasn't done too badly either so both would be a good title challenger.
