- Former WWE Superstar Chris Masters told Brian Fritz of Betweentheropes.com that he was told WWE was restructuring their talent roster when the company released him two weeks ago.
Masters was under the impression that WWE was waiting for the right time to use him and said he was given encouragement through Triple H that WWE would have something else for him. Masters reveals he was told the company was looking at taking him off TV for a re-package kind of deal.
Masters was surprised at this release and says he felt this year would be the year that WWE had something for him besides matches on Superstars.
